In connection with "Tokyo 2020", there are massive cost overruns; the Japanese taxpayers will have to pay for it. The "Board of Audit of Japan" reprimands the (Abe)-Government to tell the people the truth. At the beginning, the organizers indicated the total cost of 768 billion Yen (about 6.7 billion CHF). However, the "Board of Audit of Japan" has already estimated the costs at around CHF 24.7 billion last week; this is almost four times the original budget. Inspectors found 286 public spending projects, which in the last four years at least partially were justified with the Olympics. These were in various budgets, some were even hidden! According to the "Board of Audit of Japan", many budgetary items do not appear in the cost analysis of the Organizing Committee. The Head of the Organizing Committee, ex-Prime Minister Mori Yoshiro was warned to give transparency. With accounting tricks, they want to make "Tokyo 2020" appear cost-effective due to the many different figures. Spending are booked elsewhere or not mentioned. The architecture office "Zaha Hadid" collected CHF 68 Mio. in compensation for the non-built project. In it were even side projects hidden; "JOC" (the Japanese Olympic Committee) wanted to secretly build a new headquarters in the new stadium, at the expense of the taxpayers! Only a few minutes walk from the swimming pool "Tatsumi", which is sufficient for big events, now a new "Aquatic Center" is built. "Tatsumi" was good enough just for water polo ball according to the organizers. That new building and a new volleyball hall, the Tokyo Governor wanted to prevent, but it didn't succeed! Already the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo were by far the most expensive games then. For 2020 it will hardly be different; the "Board of Audit of Japan" expects the total costs to increase to more than CHF 26 billion. Der japanische Rechnungshof (Board of Audit of Japan) kritisiert die unklare Kosten-Berechnung fuer die Olympischen Spiele 2020 in Tokyo. Im Zusammenhang mit "Tokyo 2020" gibt es massive Kosten- Ueberschreitungen; die japanischen Steuerzahler werden diese bezahlen muessen. Der Rechnungshof ermahnt die (Abe)-Regierung, dem Volk die Wahrheit zu sagen. Zu Beginn gaben die Organisatoren die Gesamtkosten mit 768 Mrd. Yen (ca. 6,7 Mrd. CHF) an. Der Rechnungshof schaetzte jedoch die Kosten bereits auf rund 24,7 Mrd. CHF letzte Woche; dies ist fast das Vierfache des urspruenglichen Budgets. Die Inspektoren fanden 286 Ausgaben-Projekte des Staates, welche in den letzten vier Jahren mindestens teilweise mit Olympia begruendet wurden. Diese waren in den verschiedensten Budgets, einige wurden sogar versteckt! Laut Rechnungshof erscheinen viele Budget-Posten gar nicht in der Kosten- Analyse des Organisations-Komitees. Der Chef des Organisations- Komitees, Ex-Premier Mori Yoshiro wurde zu Transparenz ermahnt. Mit buchhalterischen Tricks, will man "Tokyo" 2020 kosten-guenstig erscheinen lassen, darauf hin deuten die vielen unterschiedlichen Zahlen. Ausgaben werden an anderer Stelle verbucht oder nicht genannt. Das Architektur-Buero "Zaha Hadid" kassierte 68 Mio. CHF Entschaedigung fuer das nicht gebaute Projekt. Darin waren noch Neben- Projekte versteckt; das JOC (Japanese Olympic Committee) wollte sich im neuen Stadion heimlich ein neues Hauptquartier bauen lassen, zulasten der Steuerzahler! Nur wenige Geh-Minuten von der Schwimmhalle "Tatsumi", die fuer Grossanlaesse genuegend ist, wird jetzt ein neues "Aquatic Center" gebaut. "Tatsumi" war den Organisatoren nur fuer Wasserball gut genug. Diesen Neubau und eine neue Volleyball-Halle wollte der Buergermeister von Tokyo verhindern, was jedoch nicht gelang! Schweizer Welt-Neuheit: Treibhaus-Gas aus der Luft filtern. 「IPCC(気候変動に関する政府間パネル)」の新しい気候報告書によると、世界 的な摂氏1.5度の温暖化は、大量の温室効果ガス(CO2)を大気中から除去出来た 場合にのみ防止する事が出来る。連邦工科大学からの派生企業「クライムワー クス」はEUプロジェクトの一環で、アイスランドで二酸化炭素を大気中から濾 過して地下に保管している。スイスのこの先駆的プロジェクトは大成功を収め たので、同社は来年そのサーヴィスを顧客に提供したいと考えている。同社の 技術は将来検討される様々な技術の一つだ。同社は彼等のサーヴィスで環境を 守り、且つ収入を得たいと考えている。ヒンヴィル(ツューリッヒ)にあるスイ スの拠点では、濾過された二酸化炭素は、隣接する野菜生産者の温室へ野菜を 薫蒸する為に供給されている。「クライムワークス」の目標は、2025年までに 世界の排出量の1%を大気中から除去する事。これは年間およそ3億トンの二酸 化炭素に相当する。現在ヒンヴィルでの二酸化炭素の処理量は年間900トン。 処理量の拡大で、現在のトン当たり価格600スイスフランが200スイスフランに 下がる筈。「IPCC報告書」によると、100〜1,000億トンの二酸化炭素が大気中 から濾過される必要がある。以前の森林地帯の再植林が二酸化炭素を閉じ込め るには最良である事が証明されている。しかし、それには空き地と水の確保の 問題が有る。再植林は又食料生産の場所と競合する可能性が有る。 According to the new climate report of the "IPCC" (World Climate Council), global warming of 1.5 degrees Celsius can only be prevented if a significant amount of the greenhouse gas (CO2) is removed from the air. The ETH spin-off company "Climeworks" filters CO2 from the air and stores it in the underground in Iceland as part of an EU- project. The pilot project was so successful that the Swiss "Climeworks" wants to offer its services to customers next year. The technology of "Climeworks" is one of several possibilities that will be considered in the future. With their service, the Swiss company wants to help the environment and earn money. At the Swiss site in Hinwil (ZH), the filtered CO2 is channeled into the adjacent glasshouses of a vegetable producer for the fumigation of vegetables. The goal of "Climeworks" is to wash 1% of the world's emissions from the air by 2025. This corresponds to around 300 Mio. tons of CO2 annually. Currently it are 900 tons of CO2 per year in Hinwil. The expansion shall lead to a falling price of CHF 600 today to CHF 200 per ton. According to the "IPCC report," 100 to 1,000 billion tons of CO2 would need to be filtered from the air. The reforestation of former forest land has proven best to bind CO2. However, there is a problem with space requirements here and with a high water demand. Reforestation could also compete with areas for food-production. Die ETH-Spin-off Firma "Climeworks" filtert im Rahmen eines EU-Projekts in Island CO2 aus der Luft und speichert es im Untergrund. Das Schweizer Pilot-Projekt war so erfolgreich, dass "Climeworks" ihre Dienstleistung im naechsten Jahr Kunden anbieten will. Die Technologie von "Climeworks" ist eine von verschiedenen Moeglichkeiten, welche in Zukunft infrage kommen. Mit ihrem Service will die Schweizer Firma der Umwelt helfen und damit Geld verdienen. Am Schweizer Standort in Hinwil (ZH) gelangt das gefilterte CO2 in die angrenzenden Treibhaeuser eines Gemuese-Produzenten zur Begasung von Gemuese. Das Ziel von "Climeworks" ist es, bis 2025 1% der weltweiten Emissionen aus der Luft zu waschen. Dies entspricht rund 300 Mio. Tonnen CO2 jaehrlich. Derzeit sind es in Hinwil 900 Tonnen CO2 pro Jahr. Der Ausbau soll dazu fuehren, dass der Preis pro Tonne von heute CHF 600 auf CHF 200 sinkt. Laut "IPCC-Bericht" muessten 100 bis 1'000 Mrd. Tonnen CO2 aus der Luft gefiltert werden. Am besten bewaehrt hat sich die Wieder-Aufforstung von ehemaligen Waldflaechen um CO2 zu binden. Hier gibt es jedoch ein Problem beim Platz-Bedarf und mit einem hohen Wasser-Bedarf. Aufforstungen koennten aber auch Flaechen fuer die Nahrungs-Mittel-Produktion konkurrenzieren. Romer and William D. Nordhaus. The two US-economists do research in climate change and technological progress. In 2009, the prize was awarded for the only time to a female economist, Mrs. Elinor Ostrom; but she was a US-American too. If you want to get a Nobel Prize in Economics these days, it's best to be US-American, Male and White. Today, most of the works that were made 20 to 30 years ago are honored, explains Professor David Hemous from the University of Zurich. At that time, the center of economic science was even more in the USA than it is today. The German economist Mr. Hans-Werner Sinn blames the (German) national socialism for the US-dominance. That term refers to indebted companies that cannot pay the interest payments with the current earnings and that for more than three years. Besides, a company must be at least 10 years old. "Start-ups", which are often in debt, are not included. The study covered 14 countries, including the USA, Germany, Japan and France. In these countries, the number of infected companies has increased from 2% to 12% since the 1980s. "Bank of America" comes to a similar conclusion: about 9% of the 600 largest quoted companies in Europe are affected today. According to "BIS", low interest rates are another reason for the advance of "Zombie- Companies"; they make the debt burden more affordable. The laptop is a device called "Zbook" of the US-company HP. The laptops are provided by the parliament administration and the parliamentarians were asked to have their equipment checked. The accident was confirmed by the parliamentary services; the broken device will be examined in a specialized laboratory. According to "HP Switzerland" it is the first incident of this kind. The problem is however not new; back in January, HP-Laptops had to be recalled, whose batteries can ignite themselves. The laptops of parliamentarians cause again and again trouble, said the President of the National Council. This month the bidding for the ordering of new laptops is running.
