At the "World Skills 2017" in Abu Dhabi, the female young Swiss painter won the silver medal and is thus Vice-World Champion of the painters. Still in 1990, only every fifth painter- apprentice was a woman; in 2005, the proportion of women reached a record high of 60%. Jetzt kann deshalb oft auf die Atemschutz-Maske verzichtet werden. Es braucht aber weiterhin Muskelkraft, da fuer das Gipsen schwere Kessel getragen werden muessen. Es gab nie besondere Werbe-Massnahmen fuer einen hoeheren Frauen-Anteil; es hat sich einfach mit der Zeit so ergeben, sagt Petra Braun vom "Maler- Dachverband". Der Maler-Beruf zaehlt zu den kreativen Berufen und kann deshalb sehr gut, oder noch besser von Frauen ausgeuebt werden. Der Maler-Beruf ist eine attraktive Alternative zu Berufen im Buero oder im Verkauf. The 43-years-old is a member of the party "Candidacy of the People's Union (CUP)" and is fighting for years for an independence of Catalonia from Spain. The politician previously belonged to the regional parliament in Catalonia. So far, she has held a law professorship at the independent University of Barcelona. The politician was to appear before a Spanish court in Madrid this week; the justice in Madrid accuses the woman of "alleged involvement in a rebellion". Since the politician is threatened by an unfair criminal trial in Madrid, she fled to Geneva. According to her Swiss lawyer, there was only the choice between prison and exile for Anna Gabriel.
