The "CAS court" decides with it in favor of the Russian athletes and against the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The lifelong ban against 28 Russian winter athletes due to doping was lifted based on insufficient evidence. Eleven other athletes remain excluded from the Olympics in PyeongChang, but their lifelong ban for Olympic Games is also invalid according to the "CAS". The "IOC" had excluded a total of 43 Russian winter athletes from all future Olympic Games, because the athletes had benefited from organized manipulations at the 2014 "Sochi Olympics". 42 of the athletes concerned had appealed to the "CAS court". So far, the "IOC" has allowed 169 Russian athletes to participate in South Korea under a neutral flag and without anthem. The verdict of the "CAS court" is a severe defeat of the "IOC" in connection with the State-Doping scandal of Russia. The Russian Government has welcomed with great relief the lifting of the life-long ban for 28 athletes. Sports Minister Pavel Kolobkov said: "We are glad that justice finally triumphs." Such talented students can now begin their studies at the University of Zurich yet before they graduate (Matura). For it, positions for 70 talents will be created; the principal attaches great importance to the promotion of such talents. The so-called "pupils-studies" will start in the autumn semester; the students can choose from eight modules at four faculties. The "Fight of the Universities" for the best talents is particularly rigorous in Zurich. The new possibility is only for students from the Canton of Zurich and they attend the university half a day per week. They must be able to catch up the missed subject material at their Gymnasium themselves. Das so-genannte "Schueler-Studium" beginnt im Herbst-Semester; die Schueler koennen aus acht Modulen an vier Fakultaeten auswaehlen. Es sind dies: Recht, Physik, Biologie, Theologie, Philosophie, Religions- und Kommunikations-Wissenschaften. Sie nehmen mit regulaeren Studierenden an den Vorlesungen teil. A new network is needed as the current "4G infrastructure" reaches its limits by data transmission. Swisscom works with the Swedish company Ericsson as supplier, Salt collaborates with the Finnish supplier Nokia and Sunrise has a partnership with Huawei. 5G-compliant Smartphones are expected to come on the market as from 2020. But, how is safeguarded that no foreign intelligence services can wiretap (spy) through the back door of network components? The US-Government wants to build the 5G mobile standard itself due to fear of China. So the USA doesn't want to leave the buildup of the new network to (US) mobile phone companies as before . It is a fact that the Chinese Huawei Group is partially dominating the World's Telecom Infrastructure Market thanks to (Chinese) Government aid and an aggressive pricing policy, experts say. Should US-companies involve Huawei in the buildup of their 5G networks, this could allow then Chinese intelligence services access to the network. January 2018 could be the warmest winter month in the lowland since the start of the measurement; it was between 4 and 5 degrees Celsius warmer than in the long-term average. The reason for this weather situation was an Atlantic current, which brought mild and humid Atlantic air to Switzerland. In addition, three winter storms came in January, which moved across Switzerland at top speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour. In the Alps, they brought snow and in the lowland rain. A research association, founded by Volkswagen (VW), BMW, Daimler and Bosch conducted the tests not only on monkeys, but also on humans. 25 people inhaled nitrogen dioxide; in the meantime, Daimler has distanced itself from it and condemned these tests "fiercely". The German Government stated that "these tests on monkeys or humans are ethically in no way justifiable". The data for the nitrogen dioxide pollutant were manipulated in the US by VW for years in order to officially comply with the legal limits for diesel vehicles. The "New York Times" had made the tests with monkeys public. The exhaust gas tests should prove that the diesel vehicles caused no health damage thanks to modern exhaust gas cleaning systems. From the relatively small study it cannot be inferred that nitrogen oxides are harmless; certainly not for asthmatics, children or older people. It seems that the car companies wanted to whitewash something, which is not clean. The letter from the "Eleven-Swiss-Friends" was signed by Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and other states. The mentioned States intend to continue granting the Swiss Stock Exchange the unrestricted equivalency.
