Mr. Achten regularly travels to North Korea, and he says that Kim Jong-Un has triggered economic reforms that bring the country more prosperity, although international sanctions are in force. He explains that there is a kind of new middle class in the capital, how the country gets foreign exchange and how the farmers in the countryside try to improve their income. The SRF-correspondent mentions a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita of the population in North Korea of 1,136 US-Dollars in 2016; in South Korea, it is about 23,000 US-Dollars. The Central Bank in South Korea estimates that North Korea's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 3.9% in 2016, as fast as never since 1999, writes the newspaper "NZZ". The Central Bank in Seoul estimates the per capita income of the North Koreans to 1,461'000 Won or an equivalent of Euro 1,100. Mr. Achten reist regelmaessig nach Nordkorea und er sagt, Kim Jong-Un habe Wirtschafts-Reformen ausgeloest, welche dem Land etwas mehr Wohlstand bringen, obwohl internationale Sanktionen in Kraft sind. Er erklaert, dass es in der Hauptstadt eine Art neue Mittelschicht gibt, wie sich das Land Devisen beschafft und wie die Bauern auf dem Land versuchten, ihr Einkommen aufzubessern. Saudi Arabia is next to Israel, the closest ally of the USA in the Middle East. The four-day visit to Moscow, symbolizes the return of Russia to the Middle East. Other countries, which traditionally belong to the US- universe too, also look to Russia; these are Egypt over Israel to Turkey. If Saudi Arabia, as the most important oil producer in the OPEC allies with the largest oil producer outside the OPEC Russia, it is also a "purpose alliance" against the "fracking industry" in the USA. The two countries agreed on multi-billion arms sales; Saudi Arabia wants to buy the Russian air defense systems Type S-400. During the visit, about a dozen agreements were signed. The two countries have also agreed on military training programs for Saudi Arabians and transfer of arms technologies. The NATO-State Turkey wants to buy its new air defense systems also in Russia. The new, pragmatic policy of the Saudis towards Moscow, is also a recognition of the influence that President Putin has procured in the Middle East. The Saudis, in spite of their so far pretentious rhetoric, are ready to accept that Syria's President Assad remains in power for a long transitional period. In the relationship between Saudi Arabia and the USA, Saudi Arabia has recognized that it must also make ties with other countries; it does not just want to rely on the protecting power of the USA anymore! Saudi- Arabien ist neben Israel, der engste Verbuendete der USA im Nahen Osten. Der vier-taegige Besuch in Moskau, symbolisiert die Rueckkehr Russland in den Nahen Osten. Andere Laender, welche traditionell auch zum US-Universum gehoeren, schauen ebenfalls nach Russland; es sind dies Aegypten ueber Israel bis zur Tuerkei. Wenn sich Saudi-Arabien als wichtigster Oel-Produzent in der OPEC mit dem groessten Oel- Produzenten ausserhalb der OPEC Russland verbuendet, geht es auch um eine "Zweck-Allianz" gegen die "Fracking-Industrie" in den USA. Die beiden Laender vereinbarten Milliarden-schwere Ruestungsgeschaefte; Saudi-Arabien will russische Flug-Abwehr-Systeme vom Typ S-400 kaufen. Beim Besuch wurden zirka ein Dutzend Abkommen unterzeichnet. Die beiden Laender haben sich zudem auf militaerische Ausbildungs- Programme fuer Saudiaraber sowie den Transfer von Ruestungs- Technologien geeinigt. Der NATO-Staat Tuerkei will seine neuen Flugabwehr-Systeme auch in Russland kaufen. Die neue, pragmatische Politik der Saudis gegenueber Moskau, ist ebenfalls eine Anerkennung des Einflusses, welcher sich Praesident Putin im Nahen Osten verschafft hat. Die Saudis sind zwischenzeitlich, trotz ihrer bisher anmassenden Rhetorik bereit, zu akzeptieren, dass Syrien's Praesident Assad fuer eine lange Uebergangs-Zeit an der Macht bleibt. Im Verhaeltnis zwischen Saudi-Arabien und den USA hat Saudi-Arabien erkannt, dass es auch mit anderen Laendern Bande knuepfen muss; es will sich nicht mehr einfach so auf die Schutzmacht USA verlassen! (Sun. 08.10.2017 Smi) 2017年10月12日木曜日、オーストリア選挙最後の主要候補によるテレビ討論が 終了、合計40回候補者のテレビ討論が行われた。突然「中傷合戦」が止み、候 補者が節度を持って議論したのは驚きだったと、スイス公共放送のラジオは報 じた。オーストリア国民は日曜日に新しい議会を選ぶ。それは同国が経験した 「最も汚い選挙戦」だったとメディアは書いた。政党は嘘と陰謀を用い、狙い を定めた「偽のニュース」も拡散させた。2016年の連邦大統領選挙では、未だ オーストリアが徐々に「バナナ共和国」になるのか活発な議論が行われていた のだがが、これが再現されることになるのか。現在これが最早単なる「皮肉な 疑問」ではなくなった。当時、投票用紙の集計で違反行為が有り、郵便投票の 封筒がきちんと接着されていなかった！今回の選挙戦では、「オーストリア社 会民主党(SPOE)」のクリスティアン・ケルン首相がイスラエルの選挙運動顧問 を雇い50万ユーロ支払った。これによって「オーストリア国民党(OEVP)」の最 有力候補セバスティアン・クルツに対する汚いキャンペーンが始まった。その 際顧問は、フェイスブックで二つの人種差別的、反ユダヤ的な内容を含む偽装 サイトを使い、対立候補セバスティアン・クルツの評判を傷つけ痛手を与えよ うとした。現在この顧問はイスラエルで逮捕されている。このスキャンダルが 明るみに出されて以来、オーストリアでは「汚いバケツ・キャンペーン」のみ 語られている。このスキャンダルはオーストリア社会民主党に大きな苦難を強 い、選挙戦を不利にしている。 (出展：2017年10月8日付ターゲス・アンツァイガー紙オンライン版) On Thursday, October 12, 2017 the election campaign in Austria ended with the last TV-debate of the top candidates; at large, there were 40 TV-debates of the candidates. It was a surprise, when the Swiss Radio- station SRF reported that the debate performed without "mud-slinging" and the candidates discussed with decency. The Austrian citizens elect a new parliament on Sunday. It was really the "dirtiest election campaign", the country has ever witnessed, wrote the media. The parties used lies and intrigues, there was also a spread of concerted so-called "fake news". In the federal presidential election in 2016, which had to be repeated, the country was still cheerfully discussing whether Austria would gradually turn into a "Banana Republic". Now, this is no longer just an "ironic question". At that time, it was about transgressions regarding to the counting of votes and postal ballots envelopes were badly glued! In the current election campaign, the party "SPOE" of Federal Chancellor Christian Kern has hired an Israeli election campaign advisor and paid with more than 500,000 Euros. The Israeli man sparked a dirt campaign against the top candidate of the party OEVP Sebastian Kurz. The advisor used two "camouflaged" Facebook-sites, which were operated with partly racist and anti-Semitic content; with it, he wanted to discredit the opponent candidate Mr. Sebastian Kurz and harm him. The advisor has now been arrested in Israel. Since this scandal is known, it is just only spoken about the "dirt bucket campaign"; this scandal brings the SPOE party into great hardship and harms their election campaign. Am Donnerstag, 12.10.2017 wurde der Wahlkampf in Oesterreich mit dem letzten TV-Duell der Spitzen-Kandidaten abgeschlossen; insgesamt gab es 40 TV-Debatten der Kandidaten. Es war eine Ueberraschung, dass es ploetzlich ohne "Schlammschlacht" ging und die Kandidaten mit Anstand diskutierten, berichtete das Schweizer Radio SRF. Die Buerger in Oesterreich waehlen am Sonntag ein neues Parlament. Es war wirklich der "schmutzigste Wahlkampf", den das Land je erlebt hat, schreiben die Medien. Die Parteien nutzen Luegen und Intrigen, es gab auch gezielt verbreitete so-genannte "Fake-News". Bei der Bundes Praesidenten-Wahl 2016, welche wiederholt werden musste, diskutierte das Land noch heiter, ob Oesterreich langsam zu einer "Bananen- Republik" werde. Jetzt ist dies nicht mehr nur eine "ironische Frage". Damals ging es um Verstoesse bei der Auszaehlung der Wahlstimmen und Briefwahl-Umschlaege waren schlecht verleimt! Im aktuellen Wahlkampf hat die Partei "SPOE" von Bundeskanzler Christian Kern einen israelischen Wahlkampf-Berater angestellt und mit mehr als 500'000 Euro bezahlt. Dieser entfachte eine Schmutz-Kampagne gegen den Spitzen-Kandidaten der OEVP Sebastian Kurz. Der Berater verwendete dabei zwei "getarnte" Facebook-Seiten, welche mit teils rassistischen und anti-semitischen Inhalten betrieben wurden; damit wollte er den Gegen-Kandidaten Sebastian Kurz diskreditieren und ihm schaden. Der Berater wurde inzwischen in Israel verhaftet. Seit dieser Skandal bekannt ist, spricht man in Oesterreich nur noch von der "Schmutz- Kuebel-Kampagne"; dieser Skandal bringt die SPOE-Partei in grosse Bedraengnis und schadet ihrem Wahlkampf. The Signatory States chose the City of Geneva as the seat of the Secretariat of the "Minamata Convention"; with it, the location of Geneva will be strengthened as a Competence Center for environmental issues, said the Director of the Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU). The election of Geneva was a sign of recognition for the commitment of Switzerland in favor of a treaty on mercury. She received the award in 1997. Besides, the "St Hugh's College" in Oxford removed a portrait of Aung San Suu Kyi, which was placed at the main entrance, replacing it with a Japanese painting. Other institutions in Great Britain are planning similar "deprevations" of Honorary titles. The "London School of Economics" wants to deny Suu Kyi the title of "Honorary Presidency" and the "Unison" labor union wants to suspend her Honorary Membership. Members of the City of London Council are also discussing to deprive Suu Kyi of the "Honorary Freedom" award. Aung San Suu Kyi is no longer dignified of the awards, say the various British institutions. Suu Kyi has been strongly criticized internationally because she has not condemned or stopped the persecution of the minority "Rohingya" by the military. "Amnesty International" described the military actions as "ethnic cleansing".
