The Hotel-woman felt troubled that hotel guests left behind "mountains of food" on their plates at the tables after having served themselves on the breakfast buffet. Considering the hunger on the world, the brave hotel manageress no longer wanted to simply accept that so. She placed small sign-boards on the tables where she informed the guests with photographs and in words about the starving children in the world. The guests were informed also that due to ethical and moral reasons no food was thrown away in Switzerland. The guests were advised to scoop to their own plate only the amount of food, which they could actually eat. The information was given also in English and Mandarin-Chinese. The campaign of the Lucerne Hotel-woman was spread by media worldwide and she received hundreds of feedbacks from the whole world. According to Mrs. Heller the responses came from Switzerland, Europe, China, Japan and the USA; all feedbacks were generally positive. The woman was said thank you for her moral courage and her measures against the waste of food were praised. The Hotel-woman didn't want to give instructions to the guests, but she only asked the people for help in the "fight against food waste". The polite message of the Hotel-Manageress was effective; since then the guests left behind on the average 50% to 70% less food residues on their plates. The brave and unusual campaign of the Hotel-woman became famous quickly in the hotel business in Switzerland and in abroad. Other hotels showed also interest in those "information sign-boards". With the savings from the reduced consumption (less food waste), the Hotel-woman supports a humanitarian charity project in Africa. Mrs. Heller was nominated for a "SwissAward" in the category "Society" due to her commitment. Die 52-jaehrige Hotel-Direktorin Brigitte Heller vom 4-Stern Hotel Monopol in Luzern war eine mutige Frau als sie diesen Fruehling Massnahmen ergriff um die Verschwendung von Essen (Food Waste) im Hotel zu beschraenken. Es stoerte die Hotel-Frau, dass die Hotel- Gaeste nach dem Frueh-Stuecksbuffet jeweils "Berge von Esswaren" auf ihren Tellern an den Tischen zurueckliessen. In Anbetracht des Hungers auf der Welt, wollte die mutige Hotel-Direktorin dies nicht mehr laenger einfach so akzeptieren. Sie platzierte auf den Tischen kleine Hinweis-Tafeln, worauf die Gaeste mit Fotos und in Worten auf die hungernden Kinder in der Welt hingewiesen wurden. Die Gaeste wurden informiert, dass in der Schweiz aus ethischen und moralischen Gruenden keine Lebensmittel weg geworfen werden. Die Gaeste sollten nur soviel vom Fruehstuecks-Buffet auf den eigenen Teller schoepfen, wie sie auch tatsaechlich essen koennten. Die Information erfolgte ebenfalls auf Englisch und Mandarin-Chinesisch. Die Aktion der Luzerner Hotel-Frau wurde weltweit verbreitet und sie erhielt hunderte Rueckmeldungen (Feedbacks) aus der ganzen Welt. Laut Frau Heller kamen die Reaktionen aus der Schweiz, Europa, China, Japan und den USA; alle "Feedbacks" waren allgemein positiv. Der Frau wurde fuer ihren Zivil-Courage (Furchtlosigkeit) gedankt und ihre Massnahmen gegen die Lebensmittel- Verschwendung wurden gelobt. Die Hotel-Frau wollte den Gaesten keine Vorschriften machen, sondern die Leute um Mithilfe bitten beim "Kampf gegen die Lebensmittel- Verschwendung". Die hoefliche Botschaft der Hotel-Direktorin zeigte Wirkung; die Gaeste liessen im Durchschnitt seither 50% bis 70% weniger Lebensmittel-Resten auf ihren Tellern liegen. Die mutige und unuebliche Aktion der Hotel-Frau wurde im Hotel-Bereich in der Schweiz und im Ausland rasch bekannt. Andere Hotels zeigen ebenfalls Interesse an den "Informations-Tafeln". Mit den Einsparungen aus dem reduzierten Konsum (weniger Food Waste) unterstuetzt die Hotel-Frau ein humanitaeres Projekt in Afrika. That number is known under the term of "mai namba", a derivative from the English phrase "My Number". Already more than 150 Japanese have filed a court action against the Abe-Government because that Personal-number is said to violate their privacy; it is said to be also unconstitutional. Already before the official implementation in January 2016,"lots" of trick-frauds in connection of "My Number" had happened. Based on "My Number" the Japanese would become "transparent citizens" (naked citizens) for the State in the future; however, not only for the authorities but also for the (computer) "Hacker", say the worried Japanese plaintiffs. The anxiety that personal data are insufficiently protected in Japan isn't baseless. In June 2015 the data (information) of 1.25 Mio. members of the national (Japanese) Pension Fund were stolen! In the year 2008, the same pension fund lost the documents (data) of 18.4 Mio. Japanese! Officially, the Abe- Government just wants to improve the fiscal discipline (tax morals) with the new Personal-number. In Japan even the banks shall be allowed to use the card for identification and it is said that the national Health Insurance will adopt "My Number" in the future too. The "state- run data-collection" about the individual Japanese citizen would be enormous with it! Regarding to the delivery of the documents of "My number" to the around 55 Mio. households in Japan, irregularities had happened (e.g. delivery to a false address, etc.). Many citizens also refused to accept the "My Number-documents"; the issuing of a "mai namba" card gives also (lots of) work to the individual citizen. Each inhabitant has to go to a branch of the (electronic) shop "Kojima- Denki" in order to have made his photograph. Only if the authorities have a "machine-readable" photograph, they will issue that identification card. According to the media many Japanese are suspicious about "My Number"; they say that the authorities are not prepared and their computers are not protected. The Consumer Organizations, but also the Bar Association warn that the Abe- Government is violating the privacy of the citizens. The handling of personal information is however contradictory in Japan. If a suspect is arrested in Japan, the media publish his "name, first name, age, employer and the attended schools"; often even his house is shown. There is apparently no presumption of innocence; it seems nobody is bothered about it. [WSNH: In the USA, there were 11.7 Mio. cases of data breaches regarding to the "Social Security numbers" since the year 2006. Due to the theft of data, US-citizens suffered losses amounting to tens of billions US-Dollars. In South Korea, even 40 Mio. "Personal-Numbers" were "leaking"; that corresponds to 80% of the population.] Die japanische Regierung von Abe Shinzo fuehrt derzeit eine allgemeine Personen-Nummer fuer alle Einwohner ein. Diese Nummer ist unter dem Begriff "mai namba", eine Ableitung aus dem englischen "My Number" bekannt. Bereits ueber 150 Japaner haben gerichtlich gegen die Abe- Regierung geklagt, weil diese Personen-Nummer ihre Privat-Sphaere (persoenlicher Lebensbereich) verletze; sie sei auch verfassungswidrig. Schon vor der offiziellen Einfuehrung im Januar 2016 kam es zu "vielen" Trick-Betruegereien im Zusammenhang mit "My Number". Die Japaner wuerden in Zukunft mit der "My Number" zu "glaesernen Buergern" fuer den Staat; jedoch nicht nur fuer die Behoerden, sondern auch fuer die "Hacker", befuerchten die japanischen Klaeger. Die Angst, die persoenlichen Daten seien unzureichend geschuetzt in Japan, ist nicht unbegruendet. Im Juni 2015 wurden die Daten (Angaben) von 1,25 Mio. Mitgliedern der staatlichen (japanischen) Pensionskasse gestohlen! Im Jahr 2008 verlor die gleiche Pensionskasse die Unterlagen von 18,4 Mio. Japanern! Offiziell will die Abe-Regierung mit der neuen Personen-Nummer die Steuer-Disziplin verbessern. In Japan sollen sogar die Banken die Karte zur Identifikation verwenden koennen und es wird gesagt, die nationale Krankenkasse werde "My Number" in Zukunft ebenfalls uebernehmen. Die "staatliche Daten-Sammlung" ueber den einzelnen japanischen Buerger wuerde damit gewaltig! Bei der Auslieferung der Unterlagen der "My Number" an die rund 55 Mio. Haushalte in Japan kam es zu Unregelmaessigkeiten (z.B. Zustellung an falsche Adresse, etc.). Viele Buerger verweigern auch die Annahme der "My Number-Unterlagen"; die Ausstellung einer "mai namba" Karte ist fuer die Buerger auch mit (viel) Aufwand verbunden. Jeder Einwohner muss zu einer Filiale von "Kojima-Denki" gehen um sich dort fotografieren zu lassen. Nur wenn die Behoerde im Besitz eines "maschinen-lesbaren" Fotos ist, wird der Ausweis ausgestellt. Laut Medien sind viele Japaner misstrauisch wegen "My Number"; sie sagen die Behoerden seien nicht vorbereitet und ihre Computer dazu nicht abgesichert. Die Konsumenten-Verbaende, aber auch die Anwalts-Kammer mahnen, die Abe-Regierung verletze die Privat-Sphaere der Buerger. In Japan ist der Umgang mit persoenlichen Informationen jedoch widerspruechlich. Wenn ein Verdaechtiger in Japan verhaftet wird, veroeffentlichen die Medien seinen "Namen, Vornamen, Alter, Arbeitgeber und die besuchten Schulen"; oft wird sogar noch sein Haus gezeigt. Es gibt anscheinend keine Unschulds-Vermutung; es scheint jedoch niemand zu stoeren. [WSNH: In den USA gab es 11,7 Mio. Faelle von Daten-Pannen in Bezug auf die "Social Security numbers" seit 2006. Nach Streik: Einigung von Baumeister-Verband & Gewerkschaften. 2015年11月の建設労働者のデモンストレーションとストライキ(1日)の後、こ の程スイスの建設業界と労働組合は数か月の交渉の末新しい「LMV：全国一律 の労働協約」の合意にこぎ着けた。両陣営は当初の要求を取り下げて、妥協策 を受け入れた。主要建設業の新しい協約は2016年から1018年迄適用される。最 も重要な点は60歳からの定年(早期退職)と給与の現金支給禁止を確保する事。 60歳の定年退職では減額無しとし、その代わり2016年の昇給は無い。賃金の現 金支給禁止で社会保険側は管理の改善を望んでおり、それによって賃金ダンピ ングも確実に防止出来る。更に、早期退職基金の積み立て金を2%増やし、雇用 主は1.5%、被雇用者は0.5%負担すると決めた。減額無しで定年退職年齢引き上 げ無しの60歳定年は、建設労働者にとって最も重要な問題。未だ緊急に解決し なければならない課題が残されていて、契約には悪天候での満足のいく解決策 は未だ示されていない。建設業界の代表は2016年1月13日に交渉結果を承認し てもらわなければならない。(出典：2015年12月9日付 srf.ch/news) After the demonstrations and the strike (1 day) of the builders in November 2015, the Swiss Contractors' Association and the Labor Unions have agreed now on a new country overall labor agreement after months of dispute. Both parties have abandoned their original requests and agreed on a comprise. The new contract for the main construction industry is valid from 2016 to 2018. The major points are the securing of the pension as from 60 years (early retirement) and a ban of wage payment in cash. The pension at the age of 60 years remains without a reduction of benefits, on the other hand there will be no wage increase in 2016. With the ban of cash payment of wages, the social partners want to improve the controls and with it to prevent wage dumping in practice. Besides, it was agreed to increase the payment of contributions to the Fund for the early retirement by 2%; the employers will contribute 1.5% of it and the employees 0.5%. The pension at 60 years without benefit cut and without increase of the retirement age were for the builders the most important matter. There are still urgent problems to be solved; there is still no satisfactory solution regarding to bad weather in the contract. The delegates of the Contractors' Association have still to approve the result of the negotiations on January 13, 2016. Nach den Demonstrationen und dem Streik (1 Tag) der Bauarbeiter vom November 2015, haben sie jetzt der Schweizer Baumeister-Verband und die Gewerkschaften nach einem monate-langen Streit auf einen neuen Landesmantel-Vertrag (LMV) [Country overall labor agreement] geeinigt. Beide Parteien habe ihre urspruenglichen Forderungen aufgegeben und sich auf einen Kompromiss verstaendigt. Der neue Vertrag fuer das Bauhaupt-Gewerbe gilt von 2016 bis 2018. Die wesentlichsten Punkte sind die Sicherung der Rente ab 60 Jahren (Frueh-Pensionierung) und ein Verbot von Lohn-Auszahlungen in bar (cash). Die Rente mit 60 Jahren bleibt ohne Leistungs-Abbau bestehen, dafuer gibt es 2016 keine Lohn-Erhoehungen. Mit dem Verbot der Bar-Auszahlung bei Loehnen wollen die Sozial-Partner die Kontrollen verbessern und damit konkret "Lohn- Dumping" (wage dumping) verhindern. Zudem wurde vereinbart die Beitrags-Zahlungen in den Fonds fuer den fruehzeitigen Arbeits- Ruecktritt um 2% zu erhoehen; die Arbeigeber uebernehmen davon 1,5% und die Arbeitnehmer 0,5%. Die Rente ab 60 Jahren ohne Leistungs- Kuerzung und ohne Erhoehung des Renten-Alters war fuer die Bauarbeiter das Wichtigstste. Es sind immer noch dringende Probleme zu loesen; es besteht noch keine befriedigende Loesung bei schlechtem Wetter im Vertrag. Die Delegierten des Baumeister-Verbandes muessen dem Verhandlungs-Ergebnis am 13. Januar 2016 noch zustimmen.
