There is still a conflict with the Caribbean countries (e.g. Jamaica) about the gladly displaced UK-heritage, which goes back to the 18th and 19th century. At the recent visit of David Cameron in Jamaica, Cameron was asked, the British should admit their <historical guilt and make reparations>. The countries of the Caribbean request <reparations> (compensation) for the period of the slavery; Premier Cameron however refused such requests. The profits coming from the Caribbean has financed the industrial development and the economy in Great Britain. The British Elite (politicians, aristocrats etc.) <enriched itself by the slave trade>, is written in the newspaper article. Many (of them) were shareholders of the company <Royal African Company>, which was active in the slave trade. Researchers from Jamaica, which investigate the history for years, have made now a <direct link> to the UK- Premier. An ancestor of the Cameron family, General Sir James Duff was among the slaveholders at that time. Referring to Samantha Cameron (wife of Premier Cameron), the direct ancestor William Jolliffe was a slaveholder. With the abolition of slavery, the two (Duff & Jolliffe) received compensation money by the British State for the <loss> of a total of 366 slaves. Each of them became 4,000 Pounds, corresponding to more than 3 Mio. Pounds based on today's definition. Thanks to this UK-compensation those families have created a handsome fortune, wrote the journalist. Sir Hilary Beckles, Chairman of the <Caribbean Reparations Commission>, spoke ironically to UK-Cameron on that matter. It is regarded as paradoxical that UK paid <reparations> to the beneficiaries of the slavery at that time instead of vice versa. A formal apology is strictly refused by UK-Premier Cameron. Great Britain celebrates in the month of October the so-called <Black History Month>; on that occasion Cameron said thanks to the UK- citizens with African-Caribbean origin for their contribution. British citizens remarked dryly to it by meaning that Premier Cameron was probably especially grateful for the wealth, which <he and the Elite> received as contribution by the Caribbean. This time, the 51-years old Mrs. Elvira Nabiullina, Governor of the <Central Bank of the Russian Federation> was honored with the award <Governor of the Year 2015>. The award was handed over by <Euromoney> within the scope of a private reception at the World Bank/ International Monetary Fund (IMF) meeting in Peru. The quiet and graceful lady is described as the <Savior of the Russian Currency (RUB)>. The end of 2014, the Russian financial system was about to collapse; Mrs. Nabiullina however reacted in a great way in that situation and increased the key interest rate from 10,5% to 17%. With it, she turned away the most serious crisis from Russia since the <Ruble (RUB)-crash> of 1998 and the worldwide financial crisis of 2008. The distinguished jury of the magazine <Euromoney> praised the reasonable measures, with which the (female) Governor had <fought> the economical storm, which broke out over the country. Besides the Western sanctions, the Ruble (RUB) was also strongly affected by the decline of the oil price. Per the end of 2014, 156 billion US-Dollar or 8% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) left the country. In that difficult market environment, Mrs. Nabiullina had not only to provide liquidity for the economy, but she opted for a transition to a floating exchange rate. Thanks to it, she no longer had to use currency reserves to support the RUB-course. She received lots of praise for that measure. Meanwhile, Mrs. Nabiullina could reduce the key interest rate again to 11% and she doesn't expects any big volatility in the RUB-exchange rate. Mrs. Elvira Nabiullina had already several high posts. Women in Russia have always had the supervision of the money; that starts in the families. Women in Russia hold more often than average the function as <CFO> (Chief Financial Officer). At the Central Bank in Russia, another woman holds the important post as Vice-Governor. By the way, the husband of Mrs. Nabiullina is principal of the respected <Higher School of Economics> in Moscow. [WSNH: BOJ Kuroda Haruhiko has so far not achieved the goals with his monetary policy (Abenomics), except for a <Bubble> at the <Nikkei-Index>.] <Euromoney>, die weltweit fuehrende Bank- und Finanz-Informationen Fachzeitschrift vergibt die Auszeichnung <Governor of the Year> seit mehr als 30 Jahren. Die Auszeichnung wurde von <Euromoney> im Rahmen eines privaten Empfangs am Weltbank/ Waehrungs-Fonds (IWF) Treffen in Peru uebergeben. Die ruhige und zierliche Frau wird als <Retterin der russischen Waehrung (Rubel)> bezeichnet. Ende 2014 stand das russische Finanz-System vor dem Zusammenbruch; Frau Nabiullina reagierte jedoch grossartig in dieser Situation und erhoehte den Leit-Zinssatz von 10,5% auf 17%. Sie wendete damit die schwerste Krise seit dem <Rubel-Crash> von 1998 und der weltweiten Finanz-Krise von 2008 von Russland ab. Die angesehene Jury der Fachzeitschrift <Euromoney> lobte die vernuenftigen Massnahmen, mit welchen die Gouverneurin den wirtschaftlichen Sturm <bekaempfte>, welcher ueber dem Land ausbrach. Neben den westlichen Sanktionen wurde der Rubel ebenfalls vom Verfall des Oelpreis stark betroffen. Per Ende 2014 flossen 156 Mrd. US-Dollar oder 8% des Brutto-Inland-Produkts (BIP) ab. In diesem schwierigen Marktumfeld musste Frau Nabiullina nicht nur Liquiditaet fuer die Wirtschaft bereitstellen, sondern sie entschied sich fuer einen Uebergang zum freien Wechselkurs. Sie musste damit nicht mehr laenger Waehrungs- Reserven fuer die Stuetzung des Rubels verwenden. Es gab viel Lob fuer diese Massnahme. Inzwischen konnte Frau Nabiullina den Leit- Zinssatz wieder auf 11% senken und sie erwartet keine grosse Volatilitaet beim Rubel-Kurs. Frau Elvira Nabiullina uebte schon verschiedene hohe Funktionen aus. In Russland hatten die Frauen schon immer die Oberaufsicht ueber das Geld; dies faengt in den Familien an. Frauen in Russland bekleiden ueberdurchschnittlich oft die Funktion als <CFO> (Chief Financial Officer). Bei der Zentralbank in Russland ist als Vize-Gouverneurin eine weitere Frau auf einem wichtigen Posten. Der Ehemann von Frau Nabiullina ist ueberigens Rektor der angesehenen <Higher School of Economics> in Moskau. Now, the ETHZ (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich) wants to set worldwide new standards (Benchmarks) in architecture and in the construction industry. On the building lot, construction robots will replace or complement the builders in the future; the name of the concept is <digital manufacture>. According to Matthias Kohler, Professor for Architecture and Digital Manufacture at the ETHZ, the digitization will bring a <new construction culture> and for architects a <scientific revolution> (paradigm shift). The ETHZ is worldwide leading in that field since 2005; prototypes of such constructions robots are in use already at the ETHZ on the <Campus of the Science City>. In autumn 2016, at the ETHZ the new <Arch_Tec_lab> will be opened; it will be the worldwide first research laboratory for <large scale, robot-based manufacture in architecture and in the construction industry>. The ETHZ has developed the roof-structure for the new building by themselves, based on digital manufacture techniques. The timber roof was built by robots of the Swiss timber work company Erne. The ETHZ construction robots are versatile, the build walls, they lay tiles or they make a steel wire braid, in which liquid concrete is poured. The software is a major challenge for the ETHZ-researchers; it has to handle immediately millions of data coming from sensors, cameras and lasers because the robot is waiting for a feedback. The hardware is generally based on industrial robots; these Swiss innovations should come to the market in period of 10 to 15 years. The ETHZ-researchers have already developed a software, which enables ordinary CAD-programs to be combined with robotic manufacture. It is possible that in the far future, the builder on certain construction sites will be the quality inspector of the robot. [WSNH: In Japan there is presently a lack of builders; therefore foreign trainees are working on building lots. However, those people have to be trained first and often they <disappear> again rapidly! Japan is the <Country of the Robots>; why are there still no <construction robots> at work?] Trotzdem im Bauwesen seit fast 30 Jahren Architekten und Ingenieure mit der CAD-Software (Computer-Aided Design) arbeiten, laeuft das Verfahren beim Bauen weiterhin ziemlich traditionell ab. Jetzt will die ETH Zuerich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich) weltweit neue Mass-Staebe (Benchmarks) in der Architektur und im Bauwesen setzen. Auf der Baustelle werden Bau-Roboter inskuenftig die Arbeiter ersetzen oder ergaenzen; der Begriff heisst <digitale Fabrikation>. Gemaess Matthias Kohler, Professor fuer Architektur und Digitale Fabrikation an der ETHZ, bringt die <Digitalisierung> eine <neue Bau-Kultur> und fuer Architekten kommt eine <wissenschaftliche Revolution> (Paradigmen-Wechsel). Die ETHZ ist seit 2005 weltweit fuehrend in diesem Bereich; Proto-Typen solcher Bau-Roboter sind bei der ETHZ auf dem <Campus der Science City> bereits im Einsatz. Im Herbst 2016 wird bei der ETHZ das neue <Arch_Tec_lab> eroeffnet; es wird das weltweit erste Forschungs-Labor fuer <gross-mass-staebliche, roboter-basierte Fabrikation in der Architektur und im Bauwesen> geben. Die ETHZ entwickelte die Dach-Konstruktion fuer das neue Gebaeude gleich selber, basierend auf der digitalen Fertigungs- Technik. Das Holzdach wurde durch Roboter der Schweizer Holzbau-Firma Erne erstellt. Die ETHZ-Bau-Roboter sind vielseitig, sie bauen Mauern, sie legen Platten oder erstellen ein Stahldraht-Geflecht, in welches dann fluessiger Beton eingefuellt wird. Fuer die ETHZ-Forscher ist die Software die grosse Herausforderung; sie muss Millionen von Daten von Sensoren, Kameras und Lasern rasch verarbeiten, da der Roboter auf eine Rueckmeldung wartet. Die Hardware basiert grundsaetzlich auf Industrie-Robotern; diese Schweizer Innovationen sollen in einem Zeitraum von 10 bis 15 Jahren auf dem Markt sein. Die ETHZ-Forscher entwickelten bereits eine Software, welche es ermoeglicht, uebliche CAD-Programme mit robotischer Fertigung zu kombinieren. Es ist denkbar, dass in ferner Zukunft der Bau-Arbeiter auf gewissen Bau- Stellen zum Qualitaets-Kontrolleur des Roboters wird.
