The study 2014 evaluated the Pension Fund Systems (retirement systems) of 25 countries with regard to Adequacy, Sustainability and Integrity. The Pension Fund System (retirement system) of Switzerland was ranked as Number 5 within the scope of the study. The authors of the study made at the same time also suggestions for improvement. The first three rankings of the index were occupied by Denmark, Australia and the Netherlands. At the bottom of the ranking list are located countries such as India, South Korea; Japan is ranked as Number 23 of an overall of 25 countries. As suggestion for Switzerland, the authors recommended a <gradual increase> of the Pension Age. Das Unternehmen <Mercer> und das <Australian Centre for Financial Studies> erstellen seit 2009 jaehrlich den so-genannten <Melbourne Mercer Global Pension Index>. Die Studie 2014 bewertete die Vorsorge- Systeme von 25 Laendern in Bezug auf Angemessenheit, Nachhaltigkeit und Integritaet. Die Altersvorsorge (Retirement Income System) der Schweiz belegte im Rahmen der Studie Rang No. 5. Die Autoren der Studie machten gleichzeitig noch Verbesserungs-Vorschlaege. Die ersten drei Plaetze des Index belegen Daenemark, Australien und die Niederlande. Am Schluss der Rangliste befinden sich Laender wie Indien, Suedkorea; Japan befindet sich auf Rang No. 23 von insgesamt 25 Laendern. Mr. Maeda Ryuhei, Ambassador of Japan to Switzerland and Mrs. Kathrin Amacker, Head of Communication & Public Affairs of the Swiss Railway SBB, the railway locomotive <Welcome to Japan> was officially launched at Zurich's Central-Station (ZRH HB). On the occasion of the <150 Years Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Switzerland and Japan>, the Japanese Embassy in Berne had designed in co-operation with the Japanese National Tourist Organization in Frankfurt (Germany) the Special-Train. The <Japan- Locomotive> was designed as collage with themes of the four annual seasons in Japan; there are photographs of Mount Fuji-san, the <Great Buddha> in Kamakura, the Japanese Cherry blossom <Sakura> and so on. The locomotive shall show the beauties of Japan and the relations between Switzerland and Japan shall be further deepened. It is the aim to enthusiast the Swiss people for the beauty of Japan; the <Welcome to Japan> locomotive will be on the way at the railway-network in Switzerland for one year (view the Gallery-link). Aus Anlass des Jubilaeums <150 Jahre diplomatische Beziehungen Japan und Schweiz> hat die Japanische Botschaft in Bern den Spezial-Zug in Zusammenarbeit mit der Japanischen Fremdenverkehrs-Zentrale in Frankfurt gestaltet. Die <Japan-Lokomotive> wurde mit Motiven der vier Jahreszeiten in Japan als <Collage> gestaltet; es sind Fotos vom Berg Fuji-san, vom <Grossen Buddha> in Kamakura, von der Japanischen Kirschbluete Sakura und so weiter zu sehen. Die Lokomotive soll die Schoenheiten Japans zeigen und die Beziehung zwischen der Schweiz und Japan weiter vertiefen. The share of nuclear power energy shall be reduced from presently 75% to about 50% up to the year 2025. The National-Assembly in Paris has approved a law with regard to the <Energy-Change> with a clear majority in the past few days. The remaining electricity shall be supplied out of alternative and renewable energy-sources! The French President Francois Hollande had promised that new rules already in the election campaign in 2012. Besides, with the new law France has to reduce the energy demand by 50% up to the year 2050 compared to the year 2012!! France is described as an energy-waster; based on studies, French households use presently nearly 25% more electricity than in Germany and that is based on the same standards!! At the same time, the Head of the National Electricity Group <EDF> in France was replaced; here the French President and the Government decide about the assignment of higher positions in the Group. After the sudden & unexpected eruption of the volcano <Ontake-san>, experts declare that a volcano eruption in the environment of the Sendai- Nuclear-Power reactors could provoke a <Japan-wide> disaster.] Es ist fast eine <kleine Revolution>, dass das <atom-freundliche> Land Frankreich den Verbrauch von Atom-Strom (Nuclear Power) reduzieren will. Der Anteil am Atom-Strom soll von derzeit 75% auf noch zirka 50% bis im Jahr 2025 gesenkt werden. Die National-Versammlung in Paris hat dazu in den letzten Tagen einem Gesetz zur <Energie-Wende> mit deutlicher Mehrheit zugestimmt. Die restliche Elektrizitaet soll aus alternativen und erneuerbaren Energie-Quellen kommen! Der franzoesische Praesident Francois Hollande hatte die Neu-Regelung bereits im Wahlkampf 2012 versprochen. Schweizer Rettungs-Drohne fuer Fukushima. Inventor is the ETH-Professor Dr. Davide Scaramuzza and the so-called Nano- quadroptor (unmanned aerial vehicle) receives lots of attention by the Nuclear Power Authority. The aerial vehicle has a weight of only just 170 grams and a diameter of only 18 centimeters; it is equipped with a mini-camera. The drone flies autonomous, without GPS and it needs no steerage by a human. The aerial vehicle was awarded in Munich with a Robotics-Technology-Innovation-Prize in June 2014. The drone is particularly suitable for an operation after nuclear power disasters and other disasters. Particular is the intelligent (smart) co- operation with a mobile robot on the ground. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna is interested in the vehicle, says the researcher. The Swiss drone shall be deployed inside the destroyed nuclear power reactors in Fukushima. Unique is that the Swiss drone can navigate in buildings, tunnels, caves etc; that isn't possible with a satellite-steerage system (GPS)!! The Swiss authorities are also very interested in that new aerial vehicle. Erfinder ist der ETH-Professor Davide Scaramuzza und der so-genannte Nano- Quadroptor erhaelt viel Aufmerksamkeit bei der Atom-Behoerde. Das Fluggeraet wiegt nur gerade 170 Gramm und hat einen Durchmesser von 18 Zentimeter; es ist mit einer Mini-Kamera versehen. Die Drohne fliegt autonom, ohne GPS und sie braucht keine Steuerung durch einen Mensch. Das Geraet wurde in Muenchen im Juni 2014 mit einem Roboter- Technologie-Innovations-Preis ausgezeichnet. Die Drohne eignet sich besonders fuer den Einsatz nach AKW-Unfaellen und anderen Katastrophen. Besonders ist die intelligente Zusammenarbeit mit einem beweglichen Roboter am Boden. Die Atom-Energie-Behoerde in Wien ist am Geraet interessiert, sagt der Forscher. Die Schweizer Drohne soll in den zerstoerten AKW-Reaktoren in Fukushima eingesetzt werden. (Dieter Hallervorden, German actor & cabaret artiste) 診療所の待ち時間は、殆どの場合自分で医療を学ぶのに充分。 ────────────────────────────────── 【 from Editor's Room / 編集後記 】 先週号の編集後記でノーベル物理学賞を受賞した中村修二米カリフォルニア 大教授の報道について、読者から「NHKが中村教授のインタビューを放送しな かったのは時差があるので配慮したからだ」とのメッセージを頂いた。しか しTA紙は中村修二氏が雇用主の企業から僅か200ドルの報酬しか支払われなか った事や訴訟についても報じている。STAP細胞の日本の報道の仕方について も、スイス各紙のジャーナリストは度々日本社会の「出る杭は打たれる」様 子を報じた。お上のお達しやメディアの報道を信じない者が未だに異端児の 様に扱われる日本社会は、民主主義の醸成が困難な国と言えよう。 1) 年金制度が崩壊している国を先進国と言えるのか、国民の意識が問われ る。2) この機関車はスイス政府観光局の<My Switzerland>というスイスの 宣伝機関車だったそうだ。運が良ければ日本の機関車を見られるかもしれな い。3) こんな危険が世界に喧伝されている日本は、オリンピック開催どこ ろではない筈で、より安全な国土計画を創り上げて実施する事こそ、真の国 の振興策になると思う。其れをしようとしない政権を日本国民は退場させな ければならない。不人気なフランス大統領だが、国民への約束は守った。そ の約束を守らせたのはフランス国民に他ならない。(A.H.)
