The reasons for the loss are fears about a slow-down of the global economy. The investors are worried about the economic development in Europe and there particularly in Germany. The German leading Index DAX lost strongly on Friday and it closed with a minus of 216.21 points or a minus of 2.4%. The US-markets have lost their annual profits based on the losses of this week! A market-analyst of the German <Baader Bank> said quote <The Happy Hour of the cheap and plenty of money has significantly lost its importance.> At the US-Technology exchange <Nasdaq> the weekly loss amounted even to 3.88% (-156.45 points); that was the biggest loss since May 2012. The investors reacted also disappointed about the presentation of the new model-series D of the US-car manufacturer <Tesla>. The shares of the US-manufacturer lost nearly 8% of its value. The World Bank Chief Jim Yong Kim made the proposal to create a global emergency relief fund for the abatement of epidemics. According to the media already more than 4,000 Ebola- victims were registered; in different countries, such as in Brazil, Colombia and Macedonia persons were put under quarantine because of a Ebola-suspicion. According to the WHO (World Heath Organization) in Geneva, 8,399 people are infected with the Ebola virus as per October 8, 2014. An infection with Ebola had happened also in Spain and in the USA; the first in the USA treated Ebola-patient has died in the meantime. The US-media called that person as <Patient Zero>, that sounds nearly as dangerous as <Ground Zero>. That leaves to speculations that still hundreds or even thousands of infected people could follow that patient, is written in the newspaper article. Laut den Medien sind bereits mehr als 4'000 Ebola-Tote registriert worden; in verschiedenen Laendern, so in Brasilien, Kolumbien und Mazedonien wurden Personen wegen Ebola-Verdacht unter Quarantaene gestellt. (Tue. 07.10.2014 Smi) ボルドー大学(フランス)のソフィー・ビリオティ教授率いる研究グループの調 査に依ると、有効成分「ベンゾジアゼピン」が含まれる薬剤の摂取でアルツハ イマー病のリスクが50%高まる兆候が示された。この有効成分はヴァリウム、 ドルミカム、ロヒプノール、テメスタ等の睡眠薬や精神安定剤などに含まれて いる。「ベンゾジアゼピン」という物質は急激な依存性があって重大な副作用 をもたらす為、これらの薬剤は医師の処方が必要だ。先進工業国では特に高齢 者に睡眠薬が処方されており、その割合は7%から53%。研究者がカナダのおよ そ12万人の高齢者のデータを分析した結果、アルツハイマーのリスクが43%か ら51%高まった。米国の保健当局は2012年既に有効成分「ベンゾジアゼピン」 を高齢者向け「非推奨医薬品」リスト(ビアーズ・リスト)に載せていた。睡眠 と精神の安定には、出来るだけ「日中の活動と活動的な計画」が推奨されてい る。これらは健康的な疲労をもたらし、睡眠薬も少なくて済む。 (出典：2014年10月7日付ブリック紙夕刊) According to a study of a researcher group under the lead of Sophie Billioti of the University of Bordeaux (France), there are hints that the taking of medicines with the component <Benzodiazepine> could increase the risk for an Alzheimer disease by 50%. That component is contained for instance in sleeping pills, tranquilizers etc.; mentioned are medicines such as Valium, Dormicum, Rohypnol, Temesta etc. The substance <Benzodiazepine> is said to make dependent and has considerable secondary effects; for such medicines a medical formula is requested. In industrial countries, sleeping pills are mainly prescribed to elderly people; the percentage is between 7% and 53%. The researchers analyzed the data of about 120,000 seniors from Canada; the result showed that the risk for Alzheimer is increased by 43% to 51%. The US-Health Authorities have reacted already in 2012; the component <Benzodiazepine> was specified on the list for <not recommended drugs> for elderly people (Beers-List). As Alternative for sleeping pills and tranquilizers, more <movement during the day and activating programs> are recommended. That leads to a healthy tiredness. Thanks to that less sleeping pills are applied. In den Industrielaendern wuerden vor allem Schlafmittel an aeltere Menschen verschrieben; der Prozentsatz liege zwischen 7% und 53%. Die Forscher analysierten Daten von zirka 120'000 Senioren aus Kanada; das Ergebnis zeigte, dass das Risiko fuer Alzheimer um 43% bis 51% erhoeht war. Die US-Gesundheitsbehoerden haben schon 2012 reagiert; der Wirkstoff <Benzodiazepine> wurde auf die Liste fuer <nicht zu empfehlende Arzneimittel> fuer aeltere Menschen gesetzt (Beers-Liste). Japan: Tausende Japaner protestieren gegen Atomkraft. 東京で16,000人の日本国民が原発再稼働に反対して抗議行動をした。著名なノ ーベル文学賞受賞者大江健三郎氏は抗議声明で、「日本は福島原発大惨事の批 判的な分析を未だにしていないし、学んでいない」と言った。大江さんは、適 切な災害対策をせずに川内原発(鹿児島県)再稼働に「青信号」を出した日本政 府を批判した。安倍晋三首相の政権は2014年9月10日に九州の原子力発電所の 再稼働を許可したが、未だ地元自治体の承認が要る。福島原発事故が起きた3 年半前(2011年3月)から48基の運転可能な原子炉が安全性を点検する為停止さ れている。以来日本政府は国民に核エネルギーの必要性の説得を試みて来た。 各種調査によると日本国民の大半が原発に反対している。核燃料廃棄物の最終 処分場の問題は日本では未だ解決されていない！！そのような廃棄物の最終処 分場はどこにも見当たらず、長年そうした研究は全く行われてこなかった、と 他の新聞記事は書いている。(出典：2014年9月23日付ブリック紙) 16,000 Japanese citizens protested in Tokyo against the restart of nuclear power reactors. The respected Literature Nobel-Prize-Winner OE Kenzaburo spoke at the rally and said that <Japan had still not yet critically analyzed the disaster of Fukushima and learned the lessons from the incident>. Oe-san criticized on that occasion the Japanese Government, which has given the <Green Light> (permission) for the restart of two nuclear power reactors at the Nuclear Power Plant Sendai in the Kagoshima-prefecture. The go-ahead was given without having taken sufficient disaster control measures. The Government of Premier Abe Shinzo had authorized the restart of the nuclear power reactors in Kyushu on September 10, 2014; the local municipalities however have to approve the plan too. Since the nuclear power disaster in Fukushima 3.5 years ago (03.2011) all 48 operative nuclear power reactors of the country were disconnected for security checks. Since then, Japan's Government tries to convince the citizens of the <need> of the nuclear power energy. According to different surveys a majority of the Japanese citizens is against the nuclear power. The problem of the storage of the radio-active waste is still not solved in Japan!! A repository for such nuclear waste is nowhere in sight; for years, such a research was hardly activated, write another newspaper article. In Tokyo protestierten 16'000 japanische Buerger gegen die Wieder- Inbetriebnahme von Atom-Reaktoren. Der angesehene Literatur-Nobel- Preistraeger Oe Kenzaburo erklaerte beim Protest, <Japan habe die Katastrophe von Fukushima noch immer nicht kritisch aufgearbeitet>. Oe-san kritisierte dabei die japanische Regierung, welche <gruenes Licht> fuer die Inbetriebnahme von zwei Atom-Reaktoren beim Atomkraft- Werk (AKW) Sendai (Kagoshima-Praefektur) gegeben habe, ohne dass ausreichende Katastrophenschutz-Massnahmen getroffen worden seien. Die Regierung von Premier Abe Shinzo hatte die Wieder-Inbetriebnahme der Atom-Reaktoren in Kyushu am 10. September 2014 bewilligt; die lokalen Gemeinden muessen jedoch dem Vorhaben noch zustimmen. Seit dem Atom- Unglueck in Fukushima vor 3,5 Jahren (03.2011) sind alle 48 betriebs- faehigen Atom-Reaktoren des Landes zu Sicherheits-Ueberpruefungen abgeschaltet. Japans Regierung versucht die Buerger seither von der <Notwendigkeit> der Atom-Energie zu ueberzeugen. Laut verschiedenen Umfragen ist eine Mehrheit der japanischen Buerger gegen die Atom- Kraft. Das Problem der Lagerung der radio-aktiven Abfaelle ist in Japan nicht geloest!! He is said to have received 50 Mio. Hong Kong-Dollar (ca. 5 Mio. Euro) from the Australian construction company UGL for consulting. Different assemblymen in Hong Kong criticized that Leung didn't make the payments public when taking office in 2012. The headline of the <International Business Times> was quote: <Hong Kong's Leung received secret payout to support Australian Engineering Firm's Interests>. Thousands of people of the so-called <Umbrella- Revolution> returned to the streets in Hong Kong in order to request more democracy. After the Government cancelled talks about a dialogue with the students, again thousands pro-democratic demonstrators gathered for long-term protests. The students intend to force the Government to start talks with the Democracy-Movement. Media called the protesting citizens <the most polite demonstrator of the world>. The citizens of Hong Kong had discovered something, what they didn't know and what they hardly could explain, wrote the media in the context with the Democracy-Movement. Nach dem die Regierung Gespraeche ueber einen Dialog mit den Studenten absagte, haben sich wieder Tausende pro-demokratische Demonstranten zu langfristigen Protesten eingefunden. Die Studenten wollen die Regierung zu Gespraechen mit der Demokratie- Bewegung zwingen. Medien bezeichneten die protestierenden Buerger als <die hoeflichsten Demonstranten der Welt>. Die Buerger von Hong Kong haetten etwas entdeckt, was sie nicht kannten und kaum erklaeren koennen, schrieben Medien im Zusammenhang mit der Demokratie-Bewegung.
