The letter of protest was published as a full-page advertisement in the newspaper <New York Times> on August 10, 2014. 100 German authors have now joined the US-protest with their own letter of protest too; among them were Nobel-Prize winners. The authors accuse Amazon of the manipulation of <recommendation lists>. Besides the US-Group is blamed for slowing down the delivery of printed books of certain publishers and for not accepting any more <reservations>. Amazon is also accused of taking authors and their books as <hostages> in order to <extort> even more discounts. It is about a <war of books> by Amazon against two groups of publishers; Amazon is said to have cancelled also about 5,000 reservations of books of the publisher Hachette. Amazon is said to execute an aggressive pricing pressure and there are fears that Amazon will achieve a monopoly position, say the media. August 2014 in einer ganz-seitigen Anzeige in der Zeitung <New York Times> publiziert. Dem US-Protest haben sich jetzt ebenfalls 100 deutsche Schriftsteller, darunter Nobel-Preistraeger, mit einem eigenen Protest-Schreiben angeschlossen. Die Schriftsteller beschuldigen Amazon <Empfehlungs-Listen> zu manipulieren, ausserdem verlangsame der US-Konzern die Auslieferung gedruckter Buecher von gewissen Verlagen und es wuerden <keine Vorbestellungen> mehr angenommen. Amazon wuerde Autoren und ihre Buecher als <Geiseln> nehmen um noch mehr Rabatte <zu erzwingen>. Es geht um einen <Buecher-Krieg> von Amazon gegen zwei Verlags-Gruppen; Amazon soll ebenfalls zirka 5'000 Vorbestellungen fuer Buecher des Verlags Hachette storniert haben. Amazon uebe einen agressiven Preisdruck aus und es wird befuerchtet Amazon werde eine Monopol-Stellung erreichen, steht in den Medien. Micro- Finance has the idea to provide small and very small companies, small (personal) loans in order to finance their professional activities. These micro-finance loans are often provided by special organizations and are considered as important instrument of the development politics. About 10 billions in micro-finance loans are refinanced by investment funds worldwide; about one third of it is managed by the Swiss Financial Center. Switzerland has developed into a center (Hub) for Micro-Finance. There are an overall of three major funds management companies for Micro-Finance in Switzerland; one of them is the company Symbiotics in Geneva. Their function is the collection of capital from investors and the transfer to Micro-Finance banks worldwide. Micro-Finance Fonds achieved an average yield of 3.9% over the past ten years. According to the Fund-Manager BlueOrchard out of capital of 1 Mio. Swiss Francs about 1,500 micro-finance loans could be distributed over a period of five years. With it 7,500 persons under poverty line could be reached; 70% of the beneficiaries of micro-finance loans are women. The loan loss ratio is less than 1% said the Chief of BlueOrchard. (Tue. 29.07.2014 Smi) Alarm: Gifte Chemikalien in Lebensmittel-Verpackungen. ツューリッヒの公益団体(非営利団体)「食品包装フォーラム」が最新の調査結 果で、現在食品の包装に製造を許可されている健康に有害な175種類の化学物 質を公表した！！これらの認可された化学物質は「発癌性」以外にも突然変異 を誘発し、ホルモン系や生殖能力を損傷する！！今日ほぼすべての食品がプラ スティックや薄膜で包装されている。例えばパン、チーズ、果物、お菓子、乳 児食等。包装には沢山のプラスティックが使われていて、現在有害物質が食品 の包装に使われている事が調査や報告で頻繁に明らかにされている！！調査を した研究者は、消費者はこの事を知らず、包装材が人間の健康に及ぼす危険性 が見過ごされていると言う！！例に挙げられているのは「ビスフェノールA」 という化学物質で、EUでは哺乳瓶には使用が禁止されている。EUと各国の規制 や法律の水準は最新の研究成果を反映していない。非政府組織「ケム・セック」 は96種類の物質に警告の指定をして、<Substitute It Now>というリストを作 成した。ツューリッヒの研究者の調査は「疫学・地域保健ジャーナル誌」に発 表された。(URL) その結果は信じ難いもので、「コンピュータや衣類、染料に は間もなく許可されなくなる有害な化学物質が、食品の包装には許可されてい る。」食品からそれらの物質は直接人体に入る、と著者ジェーン・ムンケは言 う。(出典：2014年7月29日付バーゼル紙オンライン版&ターゲス・アンツァイ ガー紙オンライン版) The non-profit (NPO) foundation <Food Packaging Forum> with headquarters in Zurich shows in an actual study that 175 chemicals, which are a risk for the health, are presently allowed in the production of packaging for foods!! These allowed chemicals are among others <cancer-causing and mutagenic> or they damage the hormone- system and the reproductive capacity!! Nowadays, nearly all foods can be packed in plastics or in foils, e.g. bread, cheese, fruit, cakes, baby-nutrition etc. For the packaging many kind of plastics are used; today more and more studies and reports show that toxic substances in the packaging can merge into the nutrition!! The researchers of the study say that the consumers don't know about it and the danger onto the human health regarding to packaging is <underestimated>!! Mentioned is e.g. the chemical <Bisphenol A> (BPA), the use of that substance is banned for baby feeding bottles in the EU. The rules and laws on the level of the EU and the countries do not correspond to the actual level of the research. The NGO-organization <Chem Sec> has qualified 96 of these substances as <alarming> and established a list with the name <Substitute It Now>. The study of the Zurich researchers was published in the magazine <Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health> (URL). Diese erlaubten Chemikalien sind unter anderem <Krebs-erregend> und Erbgut-veraendernd, oder sie beschaedigen das Hormon-System und die Fortpflanzungs-Faehigkeit!! Heute koennen fast alle Lebensmittel in Kunstoff oder Folien verpackt werden, zum Beispiel Brot, Kaese, Obst, Kuchen, Baby-Nahrung etc. Fuer die Verpackung werden viele Kunststoffe verwendet; jetzt zeigen immer mehr Studien und Berichte, dass toxische (giftige) Substanzen aus den Verpackungen in die Nahrungsmittel uebergehen koennen!! Die Forscher der Studie sagen, dass die Konsumenten nichts davon wuessten und die Gefahr auf die menschliche Gesundheit betreffend Verpackungen <unterschaetzt> werde!! Erwaehnt wird zum Beispiel die Chemikalie <Bisphenol A>, die Verwendung dieser Substanz ist fuer die Baby-Schoppen-Flasche (Baby feeding bottle) in der EU verboten. Die Vorschriften und Gesetze auf Stufe der EU und der Laender entsprechend nicht dem aktuellen Stand der Forschung. Gesundheits-Risiko: Light (Zero) Getraenke! (Wed. 02.07.2014 Smi) カロリーの少ない飲料「ライト・ドリンク」(ゼロ/ダイエット・ソフト・ドリ ンク)では痩せられないと、大見出しには書かれている。しかし、もっと危険 が潜んでいるのだ。毎日「ゼロ飲料」を飲む人は、心筋梗塞や脳卒中の危険が 殆ど50%も増加する！！この結果は米国のハンナ・ガルデナーの研究グループ が「一般内科誌(JGIM)」に発表した。殆どの甘味飲料会社には今日「ダイエッ ト商品群」がある。こうした商品群は自然な砂糖が甘味料に替えられている。 しかしそうした甘味料には異論があり、発癌性や歯を駄目にするという疑いが 持たれている！「食品栄養科学欧州研究所」のウド・ポルマー氏はこの結果に 驚かない。他の研究では、「ダイエット・レモネード」には明らかに高いリス クがある事を示した。ポルマー氏に依ると、食品業界は、カロリーの少ない商 品は売上に貢献する事に気付いている。以前普通のヨーグルトを1個食べてい た消費者が今ダイエット・ヨーグルトを2個食べてもカロリー摂取量は変わら ないのだ！！ (出典：2014年7月2日付バーゼル紙オンライン版＆20分紙オンライン版) Simply said, low-calorie drinks, so-called <Zero / Diet Soft drinks> do not make slimmer, says the headline. But it becomes even more dangerous; somebody consuming one <Zero-Drink> per day, increases his risk for a heart attack or stroke by nearly 50%!! That is the result of an US-study by the researcher group of Hannah Gardener, published in the <Journal of General Internal Medicine>. Most Soft drink producer have nowadays a diet (low-calorie) product line. Here, the <natural> sugar is then replaced by artificial sweetener. Such <sweetener> are however disputed; there is a suspicion that they would promote cancer and damage the teeth! Udo Pollmer of the <European Institute for Foods and Nutrition Science> isn't surprised about the study. Another study is said to have showed that <diet-soft drinks> had a significantly higher risk. According to Pollmer the food industry has noticed that low-calorie (diet-products) are good for the turnover. In the past, the consumer ate one <normal> yogurt, today the client consumes two <low-calorie> (diet) yogurts, because the amount of the calorie taking remained the same!! Eine andere Studie habe gezeigt, dass <Diaet-Limonaden> ein deutlich erhoehten Risiko haetten. Laut Pollmer habe die Lebensmittel-Industrie gemerkt, dass Kalorien- arme (Diaet-Produkte) gut fuer den Umsatz seien.
