In a news paper report the constant decay of the <economic prosperity> in the USA was commented particularly; that shows that the USA are no longer ranked among the <TOP 20> of the leading economic nations. At the <Legatum Prosperity Index 2013> in the category <Economy>, the USA reached only <rank No. 24> out of 142 countries; here Norway is placed as number One, followed by Switzerland as No. 2, Singapore as No. 3 and Japan as No. 5. In the category <Economy>, the <downfall> of the USA can be watched clearly; they lost within five years <11 ranks> at the Index. At the <Overall Rankings> the USA reach yet rank No. 11; Norway is ranked here also as No. 1, followed by Switzerland as No. 2, Canada as No. 3 and Japan as No. 21. The tunnel links Europe with Asia and it crosses the straits of <Bosporus> in a depth of 56 meters and on a length of 1.4 kilometers on the sea bottom. The large-scale project was built by a <Turkish-Japanese> syndicate (Taisei Corporation) and cost 2.5 billion Euro; that explains the presence of Abe Shinzo. With the construction of the transport link was started already in 2004 (!) and the tunnel should have been opened already before years. The tunnel is located in a region, which is strongly endangered by earthquake; it is claimed that the structure could withstand an earthquake of a <level 9>. Independent experts expressed doubts about such as message (!). The tunnel will be used for the present only as <subway> (rapid transit); already one day after the inauguration, there was a power blackout and the passengers had to marsh on foot to the destination station. The funding for the project was handled by the <Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC)> and the <European Investment Bank (EIB)>. In those figures are also the sales of the subsidiary companies <Daihatsu> and the utility vehicle manufacturer <Hino> included. Thanks to a strong demand in the USA, the sluggish sales in China could be compensated. Ranked as number two in the car sales is the US- company <General Motors> with 7.25 Mio. cars and as number three follows the German enterprise <Volkswagen> (VW) with 7.03 Mio. cars, however without the truck brands Scania and MAN. It is about bicycle- and motor-bicycle burglaries, the loss or burglary of license plates and the reporting of damage to property. That new service is presently only available for the inhabitants of the Cantons of Zurich, Berne, Zug, Fribourg, Schaffhausen and St. Gallen; that corresponds however already to more than 40% of the Swiss population. It is planned that as soon as possible all police corps should participate on the project. The advantages of the Project <HPI> (Harmonization of the Swiss Police Informatics) [IT], are a reduction of the administrative work for the input and handling of <such mass business> for the police; besides the citizens can hand in reports 24 hours a day. The one-time project cost for <ePolice> are 1.5 Mio. Swiss Francs (CHF) and the annual maintenance cost are at about 430,000 CHF. Diese neue Dienstleistung koennen derzeit nur die Einwohner der Kantone Zuerich, Bern, Zug, Fribourg, Schaffhausen und St. Gallen nutzen; dies entspricht jedoch bereits mehr als 40% der Schweizer Bevoelkerung. Es ist geplant, dass moeglichst bald alle Polizei-Korps am Projekt teilnehmen sollen. UNO-Resolution gegen (US-) Internet-Spionage (!) スイスと他の21カ国は共同で国連に「反インターネット諜報・監視活動の 決議」の導入を目指していると伝えられている事が、2013年11月3日付「日 曜新聞」に報じられた。この決議は現時点では「米国(NSA)の諜報活動」に 向けられたものだが、目標は監視活動の「世界標準」を確立する事。要求 の主なものは加盟国が、個人の特に外国での監視並びにデータ網への侵入 で個人の権利侵害を止めさせる事。ブラジルとドイツは最近国連決議の草 案を作成、通信傍受で生じる人権侵害への懸念を表明した。 (出典：2013年11月2日付ターゲス・アンツァイガー紙) Switzerland together with 21 other States is said to introduce a <Resolution against Internet Spy out and Surveillance> to the United Nations (UN), that was reported by the <Sunday Newspaper> of November 3, 2013. The resolution is said to be directed for the present against the <Spy out activity of the USA> (NSA), but it has however the goal to establish <global standards> for the surveillance activity. Requested is among others that the Member-States stop the surveillance of private persons, particularly in abroad as well as the infiltration into data networks, which violate personal rights. Brazil and Germany have recently elaborated a draft paper for an <UN-Resolution>, which expresses the worry about human rights violations, which could happen based on surveillance of communication. Die Schweiz werde zusammen mit 21 weiteren Staaten in den Vereinigten Nationen (UNO) eine <Resolution gegen Internet-Spionage und Ueberwachung> einbringen, dies berichtet die <SonntagsZeitung> vom 03.11.2013. Die Resolution sei vorerst gegen die <Spionage-Taetigkeit der USA> (NSA) gerichtet, sie habe jedoch ebenfalls das Ziel <globale Standards> fuer die Ueberwachungs-Taetigkeit festzulegen. Regarding to property crimes 7,728 or 41.5% of the totally convicted 18,619 people had no permanent residence in Switzerland. Also regarding to drug traffic, a large number of the criminals were foreigners; the number of convicted amounted to 2,614 people or 44.7%. According to the statistics of 2012 about 16% of all verdicts were <Violations of the Aliens Act> (+17,5%): here, it was mostly about <illegal stay> in Switzerland. Gemaess dem <Bundesamt fuer Statistik (BFS)> ist vor allem der so- genannte <Kriminal-Tourismus> verantwortlich fuer die Zunahme der Verurteilungen in der Schweiz im Jahr 2012 (!). The <National Fund study> shows that every <fourth> child in Switzerland is provided a day car place. The information was supplied by the consulting office <Infras> and the University of St. Gallen. Here are the details of the study: 34,500 day care places for children up to the age of 3-years, about 69,000 places for children of the age of 4-years up to 12-years within the scope of the <lunchtime tables> and there are about 43,000 places for the <afternoon-care> (supervision) of the same age group. Further there are about 9,700 child minders, who care for a total of 25,000 children. Because most of the parents don't use the supply of the day care and the day nursery every day, the number of looked after children is significantly higher than the number of supplied places. There are considerable differences regarding to the supply of day care places in the different regions. The conclusion of the study is: <Family-supplemented> childcare promotes the equalization of fathers and mothers at the labor market>. Erstmals gibt es in der Schweiz Zahlen betreffend der <Familien- externen> Kinder-Betreuung. Eine <Nationalfonds-Studie> zeigt, dass jedes <vierte> Kind in der Schweiz einen Krippenplatz hat. Die Angaben wurden vom Beratungsbuero <Infras> und der Universitaet St. Gallen ermittelt. Hier die Einzelheiten: 34'500 Krippenplaetze fuer Kinder bis 3 Jahre, zirka 69'000 Plaetze fuer Kinder von 4- bis 12-Jahren im Rahmen von <Mittags-Tischen> und zirka 43'000 Plaetze fuer die <Nachmittags-Betreuung> der gleichen Alters-Gruppe. Weiter gibt es zirka 9'700 Tages-Familien, welche total 25'000 Kinder betreuen. Weil die meisten Eltern die Krippen- und Hort-Angebote nicht taeglich beanspruchen, liegt die Anzahl der betreuten Kinder deutlich hoeher als die Zahl der Plaetze. Es gibt erhebliche Unterschiede betreffend der Abdeckung mit Krippenplaetzen in den einzelnen Regionen.
