Titlis: Europas hoechste Haengeseil-Bruecke eroeffnet. 今週スイスの山頂と氷河「ティトゥリス」（エンゲルベルク、オプヴァルデ ン）に、欧州で最高地の吊り橋が開通した。開通は氷点下15度の降雪の中で 行われた。この橋は「クリフ・ウォーク」という名称で、海抜3,041メートル に架けられ、橋の幅は1 メートル、長さは100メートル、谷底までの深さ500 メートルを横断している。橋の建設費は130万スイスフランで、エンゲルベル ク・ゲルシュニアルプのケーブルカー100周年を記念して建設された。吊り橋 に辿りつくには140メートル以上の地下トンネルを通る。新しい吊り橋は氷河 リフト「アイス・フライヤー」の山岳駅に接続している。 （出 典：2012年12月7日付ターゲス・アンツァイガー紙） On the Swiss mountain peak and glacier <Titlis> (Engelberg OW) the highest located suspension bridge in Europe was inaugurated this week. The start of operation happened at a temperature of minus 15 degrees Celsius and during snowfall. The bridge with the name <Cliff Walk> is located on 3,041 meters above sea level; the bridge (bar) has a gauge of one meter, a length of 100 meters and crosses over a canyon with a depth of 500 meters. The cost for the construction of the bridge amounted to 1.3 Mio. Swiss Francs (CHF) and the reasons for it was the <100-Years Jubilee> of the ropeway Engelberg-Gerschnialp. The access to the suspension bridge is carried out through a 140 meters long underground tunnel; the new bridge connects the mountain station of the glacier chairlift <Ice-Flyer>. Diese Woche wurde auf dem Schweizer Berg-Gipfel und Gletscher <Titlis> (Engelberg OW) die hoechst-gelegene Haengeseil-Bruecke in Europa eroeffnet; die Inbetriebnahme fand bei Minus 15 Grad Celsius und Schneefall statt. Die Bruecke mit dem Namen <Cliff Walk> befindet sich 3'041 Meter ueber Meer; die Bruecke selber hat eine Breite von einem Meter, eine Laenge von 100 Meter und ueberquert eine Schlucht mit einer Tiefe von 500 Meter. The Index (study) has analyzed the corruption at the public administration (bureaucracy); the ranking list showed on the top the countries, whose employees are the <most incorrupt>. The <most incorrupt> is the public administration in the countries Denmark, Finland and New Zealand; these three are ranked as number one with the same number of points. Followed on rank No. 4 is Sweden, No. 5 is Singapore and ranked as number 6 is Switzerland; these threee countries are ranked only few points behind the number one. Japan is ranked as number 17 on the index, still ahead of the USA at rank No. 19. Far behind are the countries China at the rank No. 80, Greece at rank No. 94 and Russia at rank No. 133. (Mon. 03.12.2012 Smi) マルタ島で開催された「2012年欧州映画賞」の授賞式で、スイスのドキュメ ンタリー映画「冬の遊牧民」が「欧州ドキュメンタリー映画最高賞」を受賞 した。この映画は羊飼いのキャロルとパスカールの物語。800匹の羊とロバ3 頭、犬4匹と共に冬のカントン・ヴォーを遊牧する。夜雪と寒さから身を守る のは麻布と羊の毛皮だけ。印象的なこの映画は、西部スイス人のマヌエル・ フォン・シュトューラーが群れと行動を共にして撮影した。3年前にもスイス 映画「昆虫の音」が同じ賞を受賞している。 （出典：2012年12月3日付ターゲス・アンツァイガー紙） At the awards ceremony of the <European Film Awards 2012> on the island of Malta, the Swiss documentary film <Hiver nomad> (Winter nomads) was awarded with the title as the <Best European Documentary Film>. The Swiss film tells the story of the shepherdess <Carole> and the shepherd <Pascal> who are by foot on the way with 800 sheep, three donkeys and four dogs in winter in the region of the Canton of Vaud (French part of Switzerland). As only protection against snow and cold at night, they have a canvas cover and sheepskin rugs. The impressive film was produced by the Swiss French Mr. Manuel von Stuerler, who accompagnied the herd. Already three years ago, the Swiss film <The Sound of Insects> was honored with the same award. An der Preisverleihung der <Europaeischen Filmpreise 2012> auf der Insel Malta wurde der Schweizer Dokumentar-Film <Hiver nomade> (Winter nomads) mit dem Titel des <Besten Europaeischen Dokumentar-Film> ausgezeichnet. Der Schweizer Film erzaehlt die Geschichte der Hirtin Carole und des Hirten Pascal, welche mit 800 Schafen, drei Eseln und vier Hunden im Winter im Kanton Waadt (Vaud) unterwegs sind. Als einziger Schutz gegen Schnee und Kaelte in der Nacht haben sie eine Plane und Schaffelle. Der eindrueckliche Film stammt vom Westschweizer Manuel von Stuerler, welcher die Herde begleitete. (Thu. 06.12.2012 Smi) 連邦原子力安全監視機関の求めに応じて最近実施されたツューリッヒ大学の 代表的な調査は、核エネルギーを受け入れるスイス国民が2011年の福島原発 事故以後顕著に減少した事を示した。回答した63%のスイス人は、「やや又は はっきり」核エネルギーに反対した。回答者のわずか5%が核エネルギーを明 確に支持。スイス人の5人に1人は、原子力発電所を「安全ではない」と判断 し、更に僅か4人に1人が原子力発電技術利用の優位性を信じ、関連する危険 性を正当化した。3人に1人は核エネルギーを高い事故の危険性があると考え ている。これに関して、当局と政治を信用するかも住民に問われた。原子力 発電所の事業者に対する信頼の度合いは可なり低かった。 （出典：2012年12月6日付ターゲ ス・アンツァイガー紙） A recently conducted, representative survey by the <University of Zurich> on behalf of the <Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI)> showed that the acceptance of the nuclear power plant energy by the Swiss population (citizens) has considerably dropped since the nuclear power plant disaster in Fukushima in the year 2011. 63% of the questioned Swiss people are <rather or clearly> against the nuclear power plant energy. There are only 5% of the questioned persons, which support the nuclear power plant energy <clearly>. Every fifth judged the Swiss nuclear power plants as <not safe>; besides, only every fourth believes that the advantage out of the nuclear power plant technology justifies the incorporated risks. Every third person thinks that a high accident risk is coming out of the the nuclear power plant energy. In this context was also polled the trust of the citizens into the authorities and the politics. On a scale, the trust into the nuclear power plant companies was judged rather low (bad). Eine kuerzlich durchgefuehrte, repraesentative Umfrage der <Universitaet Zuerich> im Auftrag des <Eidgenoessischen Nuklear- Sicherheits-Inspektorats (ENSI)> (Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate) zeigte, dass sich die Annahme (Akzeptanz) der Atom- Energie in der Bevoelkerung der Schweiz seit der Atom-Katastrophe in Fukushima im Jahr 2011 betraechtlich reduziert hat. 63% der befragten Schweizer sind <eher oder klar> gegen die Atom-Energie. Es sind nur noch 5% der Befragten, welche die Atom-Energie <klar> unterstuetzen. Jeder Fuenfte beurteilt die Schweizer Atom-Kraftwerke als <nicht sicher>; weiter glaubt nur noch jeder Vierte, dass der Nutzen aus der Nuklear-Technologie die damit verbundenen Risiken rechtfertige. Jede dritte Person meint, dass von der Atom-Energie ein hohes Unfall- Risiko ausgehe. Befragt wurde in diesem Zusammenhang ebenfalls das Vertrauen der Buerger in die Behoerden und die Politik. Switzerland was recognized so far officially as free of the <PRRS>; the virus was however common in all neighbor countries of Switzerland. The Federal Office <BVET> has enacted an import ban in the meantime and at a breeding farm in the Canton of Appenzell (AI) 1,200 pigs had to be slaughtered due to the virus. The Initiative of Switzerland at the UN has the aim (goal) to ban worldwide nuclear power weapons; it was reported that Japan refused to sign (join) the <Swiss Initiative>! With regard to the initiative it treats also the humanitarian consequences of a deployment of nuclear power weapons. The <position of Japan> has caused in Japan a public discussion about the nuclear power and security policy of the country. An alliance of Japanese Non-Govermental-Organizations (NGO) wanted to know from the Vice-Foreign Minister Kazama Naoki why Japan hadn't signed (joined) the <Swiss Initiative>. Even only a limited nuclear power war had worldwide disastrous impacts according to information by the initiative. The representative of the Japanese <NGO> <<Peace Boat>>, Kawasaki Akira expressed to be shocked about the public statement of Kazama Naoki. Japan justified its position with the national security policy and the dependency from the US-defense umbrella. The refused support to the moral qualified Initiative has made the Japanese public very disappointed. The Mayors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as well as the Governor of the prefecture of Hiroshima declared immediately that they didn't agree with the nuclear politics of the Government. Three NATO-States (Norway, Denmark and Iceland) have signed (joined) the initiative despite their nuclear US- protection umbrella. Eine Allianz von japanischen Nicht-Regierungs-Organisationen (NGO) wollte von Vize-Aussenminister Kazama Naoki wissen, weshalb Japan die Schweizer Initiative nicht unterzeichnet habe. Selbst nur ein begrenzter Nuklear-Krieg haette weltweit katastrophale Auswirkungen gemaess Information der Initiative. Der Vertreter der japanischen <NGO> <<Peace Boat>>, Kawasaki Akira zeigte sich schockiert ueber die oeffentliche Erklaerung von Kazama Naoki. The tunnel was opened in the year 1977 and it isn't very popular among motorists because it is very narrow. In the media it was reported that neglectful inspections could be the cause of the disaster. It was also speculated that <the old age of the material> could be responsible for the disaster. The operating company <Nexco> declared that regular <visual checks> were made. Since the opening of the tunnel, it was said that the ceiling shall never have been repaired or enforced. In Japan there are 1,500 motorway tunnels, one fourth out of them shall be elder than 30 years.
