Ltd.) with headquarters in Kobe (Hyogo Prefecture) purchases the coffee roasting plant <United Coffee> with headquarters in Geneva from the investment company <CapVest Equity Partners>; the takeover shall be undertaken in the 2nd quarter 2012. Thanks to the takeover <UCC> will become one of the five major independent coffee enterprises of the world; in Japan <UCC> is the biggest coffee producer with a turnover of 2.5 billion Euro and a workforce of 3,700 people. The family enterprise established in 1933 is presently managed by the CEO Ueshima Gota in the third generation; the company owns coffee plantations and roasting plants. <United Coffee> in Geneva produces a turnover of 422 Mio. Zuerich: Hoch-Temperatur-Solaranlage gebaut.(Tue. 24.04.2012 Smi) チューリヒ市の「エネルギー」基本計画に基づき、チューリヒ市の「チュー リヒ電力会社」がグラウビュンデン州のベーファー地方自治体に特別高温ソ ーラー設備を建設した。「Lataria Engiadinaisa」の屋根に取り付けられた 同設備は稼動を開始した。「Lataria Engiadinaisa」は、エンガディン地方 の牛乳だけを加工する、欧州一標高が高い場所にある乳製品工場。ソーラー 設備は、水蒸気で熱エネルギーを生成し、牛乳の加工に用いられる。この実 験的設備では、年間18ドンの二酸化炭素排出量に相当する、年間70MWhの化 石燃料が節約される。（2012年4月24日付けターゲス・アンツァイガー紙 Based on the master plan <Energy> of the City of Zurich, the electric works company <EWZ> of the City of Zurich built a special high temperature solar plant in the community of Bever (Canton of Graubuenden); the solar plant was taken into operation now and it is located on the roof of the <Lataria Engiadinaisa>. It is the highest located dairy in Europe, which handles only milk from the local Engadin region. The solar plant generates thermal energy in the form of steam, which is used for the processing of milk. Thanks to that pilot plant 70 megawatt hour (MWh) fossil fuels can be saved per year that corresponds to a reduction of 18 tons of CO2-emission per year. Basierend auf dem Masterplan <Energie> der Stadt Zuerich, baute das <Elektrizitaetswerk EWZ> der Stadt Zuerich in der Gemeinde Bever (Kanton Graubuenden)eine besondere Hoch-Temperatur-Solaranlage; die Solaranlage wurde jetzt in Betrieb genommen und sie ist auf dem Dach der <Lataria Engiadinaisa> installiert. Es ist die hoechst-gelegene Molkerei in Europa, welche nur Milch aus der lokalen Region Engadin verarbeitet. Die Solaranlage produziert Waerme als Dampf, welcher fuer die Milch-Verarbeitung genutzt wird. Wenn Schueler die Natur nicht mehr verstehen.(Wed. 25.04.2012 Smi) こんにちでは、森に一度も足を踏み入れたことも、みみずがどんな姿をして いるのかも知らない子供達がいる。これは嘆かわしく、また心配なことでも あると、チューリヒの「ウンターモース」学校の「児童公園」の指導者が話 した。2006年から「児童公園」を率いているコルネリア・ザネッティ氏は、 町の子供達の多くは余暇をコンピューターゲームに費やしているのを知って いる。多くの子供達は自然に触れることがなく、果物や野菜についての知識 が乏しくなっている。「チューリヒ児童公園協会」は100年前に設立され、 市内の23の公園で自然に関する知識を子供達に伝えている。この授業は子供 達の人気が高く、申し込み者をすべて受け入れられない。子供達は、植物の 栽培、水遣り、雑草取りなどの方法を教わる。年間600人の子供がこのコー スに参加しており、一期の受講料は子供一人あたり100スイスフラン。 （2012年4月25日付けターゲス・アンツァイガー紙より） There are nowadays children, who have never been in the forest and who don't even know how an earthworm looks like. That is alarming and regrettable; that said the female manager of the <pupils garden> at the school house <Untermoos> in Zurich. Mrs. Cornela Zanetti manages that place since 2006 and she knows that many City-children spend their leisure with <Gaming> at the Computer. Many children have no more relationship with nature and the nescience about fruit and vegetables has strongly increased. The <Society for pupils garden Zurich> was established 100 years ago and it provides children in 23 City-gardens with knowledge about nature. The tuition is very popular among the children and not all applications for the courses can be considered. The children learn how to plant, to water and to weed. 600 children participate on the courses per year and per season each child pays a fee of Swiss Francs (CHF) 100.--. Es gibt heutzutage Kinder, welche noch nie im Wald waren und nicht einmal wissen wie ein Regenwurm aussieht. Dies ist beunruhigend und bedauerlich; das sagt die Leiterin des <Schuelergartens> im Schulhaus <Untermoos> in Zuerich. Frau Cornelia Zanetti leitet diesen seit 2006 und sie weiss, dass viele Stadt-Kinder ihre Freizeit mit <Gamen> (Spielen) am Computer verbringen. Viele Kinder haben keine Beziehung mehr zur Natur und die Unwissenheit ueber Obst und Gemuese hat sich stark erhoeht. Die <Gesellschaft fuer Schuelergaerten Zuerich> wurde vor 100 Jahren gegruendet und sie gibt den Kindern in 23 Stadtgaerten Wissen ueber die Natur weiter. Der Unterricht ist bei den Kindern sehr beliebt und es koennen nicht alle Anmeldungen beruecksichtigt werden. Die Kinder lernen wie man pflanzt, giesst und Unkraut entfernt. 600 Kinder nehmen pro Jahr an den Kursen teil und pro Saison zahlt ein Kind einen Beitrag von CHF 100. ETH baute Roboter-Heli fuer Katastrophen.(Tue. 24.04.2012 Smi) 連邦工科大学チューリヒ校の研究者達が、新しく開発された飛行ロボットの 初めてのテストを行った。「マイクロヘリコプター」(Micro Aerial Vehicle/MAV)と名付けられた同ヘリコプターは、例えば福島で起きた原子力 発電所事故などの災害時に使用できる。この飛行ロボットは、独特の「ファ イアーフライ」機能で制御され、GPSやリモコンによる操作は必要としない。 同飛行ロボットにはカメラ3台とミニコンピューターが搭載されており、全 長50センチメートル、重量は1.5キログラムに過ぎない。テスト飛行は世界 初で、「ファイアーフライ」は自動的に飛行を行った。同飛行ロボットはま だ研究段階で、バッテリーの容量が少なすぎるが、ETHはソーラータイプも 研究している。（2012年4月24日付けターゲス・アンツァイガー紙より） Researchers of the <ETH Zurich> (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich) have for the first time tested a newly developed <flight robot>; it is about a so-called <Micro Aerial Vehicle (MAV)>, which can be taken into operation during disasters for instance the nuclear power disaster in Fukushima. The so far unique flight vehicle with the name <Firefly> functions without GPS-system and without remote control; the flight robot is provided with three on-board cameras and a mini-computer having a diameter of 50 centimeters and a weight of only 1.5 kilograms. Regarding to that test, it is called a <World Premiere> and <Firefly> flies autonomous. The robot is still a research object and the accumulator (battery) is not sufficient yet; the ETH is however already on the research of a solar type model. Forscher der <ETH Zuerich> haben erstmals einen neu entwickelten Flug-Roboter getestet; es handelt sich um einen so-genannten <Mikro- Helikopter> (Micro Aerial Vehicle/MAV), welcher bei Katastrophen, wie beispielsweise der Atom-Katastrophe in Fukushima zum Einsatz kommen kann. Das bis jetzt einmalige Fluggeraet mit dem Namen <Firefly> funktioniert ohne GPS und ohne Fern-Steuerung; der Flug-Roboter verfuegt ueber drei Bord-Kameras und einen Mini-Computer und hat einen Durchmesser von 50 Zentimeter und ein Gewicht von nur 1,5 Kilogramm. The event wasn't organized in London (UK) because the Swiss City of Geneva and the Lake Geneva region have become in the meantime the worldwide most important location in the international commodity trading. In the Lake Geneva region more than 500 commodity trading enterprises are located with a workforce of 8,000 employees. Geneva is, among others, worldwide leading in the oil trade; for further agrarian commodities, the trading center Geneva is on the same level as London. Further important international commodity trade places in Switzerland are located in Winterthur (ZH), Zug, Lugano and Lucerne. Waehrend drei Tagen fand diese Woche der erste Welt-Rohstoff-Gipfel der <Financial Times FT> in Lausanne am Ufer des Genfersees statt; 300 Spitzenleute von Rohstoff-Unternehmen und Handels-Finanzierungs-Firmen aus aller Welt nahmen daran teil. Die Veranstaltung wurde nicht in London (UK) durchgefuehrt, da Genf und die Region Genfersee inzwischen der weltweit wichtigste Standort im international Rohstoff-Handel sind. In der Region Genfersee sind mehr als 500 Rohstoff-Unternehmen ansaessig mit 8 000 Mitarbeitern. Genf ist weltweit unter anderem fuehrend im Oelhandel; fuer weitere Agrar-Rohstoffe ist der Handelsplatz auf gleicher Hoehe wie London. With the new process of <PSI>, the radioactive isotope <iodine-131> can be filtered out virtually completely from the exhaust air; the new system is effective regarding to all types of iodine and the iodine will be bound in the long term. The new by the Swiss <PSI> institute developed method corrects the defects of older processing (e.g. venting filter). The system is now put into production by the enterprise <CCI Ltd.> in Balterswil (Thurgau); the new filter system is based on the <Sulzer Technology>. At the about 430 nuclear power plants (NPP) worldwide, stricter requirements regarding to filter systems have to be implemented after the nuclear power disaster in Fukushima; the new <PSI Filter> is now available for such safety improvements. Die international angesehene Schweizer Forschungs-Anstalt, das <Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI)> entwickelte ein neu-artiges Jod-Filtrierungs- System, welches bei Unfaellen in Atom-Kraftwerken (AKW) verhindert, dass radioaktives Jod aus der Atom-Anlage austritt und dabei Menschen und Umwelt schaedigt. Mit dem neuen Verfahren von <PSI> kann das radioaktive Isotop <Jod-131> praktisch vollstaendig aus der Abluft heraus gefiltert werden; das neue System ist bei allen Jod-Formen wirksam und das Jod wird langfristig gebunden. Die neue vom Schweizer <PSI> Institut entwickelte Methode beseitigt die Maengel von aelteren Verfahren (z.B. Venting-Filter). Das Verfahren wird jetzt durch das Unternehmen <CCI AG> in Balterswil (Thurgau) in die Produktion umgesetzt; das neue Filter-System basiert auf der <Sulzer- Technologie>. In den zirka 430 Atom-Kraftwerken weltweit muessen seit der Atom-Katastrophe in Fukushima strengere Auflagen betreffend Filter-Anlagen erfuellt werden, wozu jetzt der neue <PSI-Filter> zur Verfuegung steht. Ban Shigeru's Projekt bekommt ein Gesicht. (Fri. 27.04.2012 Smi) ツューリッヒの報道機関「タメディア社」の新しい出版社屋で、日本人スタ ー建築家坂茂の特別な設計に依る木造建築が姿を現し始めた。建設開始から 8カ月を過ぎた今、建物の巨大な外郭構造が築かれた。個々の木枠は重さが 18トンあり、その範囲は５階以上に亘って伸びている。木枠はスイスの木造 建築会社「ブルーマー・レーマン社」の専門家達に依ってミリメートル単位 で設置された。この木造建築には後で「ガラス壁」が取り付けられる。坂茂 の５千万スイスフランの計画は、木材と透明性に焦点を当てた。新しい本社 屋はスイス最大の木造建築になる。3,600本の唐檜が使われ、標高1,000メー トル以上で生育した木材の品質が求められた。木材の重量は2,800トンで、 同量の木材はスイスの森で1日に育つ木の量に匹敵する。 （出典：2012年4月27日付ターゲス・アンツァイガー紙） The new publishing house building of the media enterprise <Tamedia> in Zurich, a special project (wood construction) by the Japanese Star-Architect Ban Shigeru is slowly taking shape. Eight months after the start of the construction work, the powerful wooden frames were fixed on the hull of the building now; one single wooden frame has a weight of 18 tons and ranges over five floors. The wooden frames were installed millimeter precisely by specialists of the Swiss wooden building company <Blumer-Lehmann Ltd.>. The wooden construction will be equipped with a <glass skin> afterwards; the 50 Mio. Swiss Francs (CHF) project of Ban Shigeru focus on wood and transparency. The new headquarters will become the biggest wooden frame building in Switzerland; for that 3,600 spruce trees were used, which had to be cultivated above 1,000 meters due to the quality. Those trees provided an amount of wood of 2,800 tons; the same amount of wood grows again on one single day in the Swiss forests. Das neue Verlags-Gebaeude des Medien-Unternehmens <Tamedia> in Zuerich, ein besonders Projekt (Holzkonstruktion) des japanischen Star-Architekten Ban Shigeru nimmt langsam Gestalt an. Acht Monate nach Baubeginn wurden jetzt die maechtigen Holzrahmen am Gebaeude fixiert; ein einzelner Holzrahmen hat ein Gewicht von 18 Tonnen und erstreckt sich ueber fuenf Stockwerke. Die Holzrahmen wurden von Spezialisten der Schweizer Holzbau-Firma <Blumer-Lehmann AG> Millimeter-genau fixiert. In die Holzkonstruktion wird nachher eine <Glashaut> eingesetzt; das 50 Mio. Schweizer Franken (CHF) Projekt von Ban Shigerau setzt auf Holz und Transparenz. Der neue Hauptsitz wird spaeter der groesste Holzrahmen-Bau der Schweiz sein; dafuer wurden 3 600 Fichtenbaeume verwendet, welche wegen der Qualitaet auf ueber 1 000 Meter Hoehe wachsen mussten. Dies ergab eine Holzmenge von 2 800 Tonnen; die gleiche Menge Holz waechst an einem einzigen Tag nach in den Waeldern der Schweiz. UBS-CEO: Wirtschafts-Krieg gegen die Schweiz.(Mon. 23.04.2012 Smi) 米国と特定の欧州諸国等の外国政府に依る、スイスの銀行顧客機密に対する 絶え間無い攻撃は、UBSの社長にとって、スイスに対する経済戦争以外の何 ものでもない。UBSのCEOに依ると、成功を収めているスイスの金融立地を、 弱体化させようと目論む外国勢の意図だ。外国の銀行（競争相手）と各地の 金融立地は、こうした攻撃で自らの追加的市場占有率を強化しようとしてい る。これ等諸外国からの脅し（例：税務紛争）を、UBSの社長はスイスの金 融立地で2万人の雇用が失われると恐れる。 （出典：2012年4月23日付キャッシュ・オンライン紙） The enduring attacks of foreign states, for instance from the USA and certain European countries on the Swiss <Bank-client confidentiality>, are for the CEO of UBS nothing else than an economic war against Switzerland. According to the UBS CEO the target of the <foreigners> is to weaken the successful Swiss banking center. Foreign banks (competitors) and financial centers want to get additional own market shares. Due to that foreign threat (e.g. the tax dispute) the UBS CEO is worried about the loss of 20,000 working places on the Swiss banking center. Die andauernden Angriffe von auslaendischen Staaten, beispielsweise aus den USA und gewissen europaeischen Laendern, auf das Schweizer Bankkunden-Geheimnis sind fuer den CEO der UBS nichts anderes als ein Wirtschaftskrieg gegen die Schweiz. Gemaess dem UBS-CEO geht es den <Auslaendern> darum, den erfolgreichen Schweizer Finanzplatz zu schwaechen. Auslaendische Banken (Konkurrenten) und Finanzplaetze wollten sich damit zusaetzliche eigene Marktanteile verschaffen. Wegen dieser auslaendischen Bedrohung (z.B. Steuerstreit) befuerchtet der UBS-CEO den Verlust von 20 000 Arbeitsplaetzen auf dem Schweizer Finanzplatz.
