On the rankings No. 2 to No. 4, further Japanese car models of the brand <Toyota> are ranked; they are as follows: the <Toyota Prius 1.8 Hybrid>, <Toyota IQ 1.0 Eco> and the <Toyota Auris 1.8 Hybrid>. Among the so-called <TOP TEN> (10 bests) is ranked the model <Insight Hybrid> of the Japanese manufacturer <Honda> as number 6 and ranked as number 8 is once more a <Toyota>, the model <Toyota IQ 1.0>. The <Car-Environment-Ranking-List> of the <VCS> is a guidebook for the environment-conscious purchase of a new car; good ratings were given particularly to <Hybrid-vehicles> and cars, which are powered by natural gas. The winner <Lexus CT 220h Hybrid> is compared to the other <Toyota> models a bit more economical regarding to consumption and besides it drives significantly more quiet. The <ranking-list> evaluates passenger cars and panel vans based on ecological criteria such as CO2-output, contaminant- and noise exposure. Gemaess der aktuellen <Auto-Umwelt-Rangliste 2012> des Verkehrsclub der Schweiz (VCS) ist das japanische Auto <Lexus CT 220h Hybrid> das umwelt-freundlichste Fahrzeug des Jahres 2012 in der Schweiz. Auf den Raengen Nr. 2 bis Nr. 4 liegen weitere japanische Auto-Modelle der Marke Toyota; in der Rangliste sind dies <Toyota Prius 1.8 Hybrid>, <Toyota IQ 1.0 Eco>, <Toyota Auris 1.8 Hybrid>. The marathon took place on February 26, 2012. His running time was 2:08:32 hours; with that time he was only 15 seconds behind an Ethiopian ranked as number four. Second became the Japanese Fujiwara Arata with a time of 2:07:48, behind the winner the Kenyan Michael Kipyego. A serious illness threw back the 37-years old Swiss and now, he showed an impressive <Comeback> in sports. In the ranking list of the world- best marathon runners above the age of 37 years, Viktor Roethlin is now ranked as number 12. Der Schweizer <Marathon-Europa-Meister> Viktor Roethlin erzielte am <Tokyo-Marathon 2012> vom 26. Februar 2012 ueber eine Distanz von 42 195 Kilometer ein hervorragendes Resultat und wurde Fuenfter. Seine Zeit betrug 2:08:32 Stunden; damit blieb er nur gerade 15 Sekunden hinter dem Vierten einem Aethiopier zurueck. Zweiter wurde der Japaner Fujiwara Arata mit 2:07:48 Stunden, hinter dem Sieger, dem Kenianer Michael Kipyego. Eine schwere Krankheit hatte den 37-jaehrigen Schweizer zurueckgeworfen und jetzt hat er ein eindrueckliches <Comeback> gezeigt. SBB: Kampf gegen dem Abfall (Littering).(Fri. 02.03.2012 Smi) スイス連邦鉄道SBBは、車両内と駅構内でのゴミの放置とポイ捨て対策を強 化するキャンペーンを実施中。2011年、SBBの清掃作業員1,270人が電車と駅 で集めたゴミの総量は3万2千トン。深刻化するゴミ問題に対処するため、ポ スターによるキャンペーンで、乗客に注意を呼びかけている。2011年、5,730 トンの古紙、51トンのガラス瓶、159トンのペットボトルがリサイクル用に回 された。しかし新聞、コーヒーカップ、ファーストフードの容器などは、正 しく捨てられないで、ますます放置される傾向にある。ポスターでは、有名 人が使用済みの物品の再利用の仕組みと用意されているゴミ箱に正しく捨て るよう案内している。SBB自体も今まで、ゴミのすべてを同じゴミ箱に捨てる など、ゴミ処理に関して環境への配慮が足りなかった。SBBは、9箇所の大き な駅に複数のゴミ箱を設置し、ペットボトル、アルミニウム、ビン、紙など の正しいゴミの分別をテストする。車両の清潔度は、顧客の満足度に好意的 に作用する。 （2012年3月2日付けターゲス・アンツァイガー紙/2月20日付けSBBより） With a campaign the Swiss railway company SBB is going to enforce the <fight> against the <leaving behind> and the <throwing away> of <rubbish> in the railway carriages and at the railway stations. Over the whole 2011, the 1,270 cleaning employees of the SBB collected a total of 32,000 tons of rubbish in the trains and at railway stations. The problem with rubbish, also known as <littering> is still increasing; now, the travelers shall be approached (sensitized) by a poster campaign. Additionally, the SBB could bring to recycle in the year 2011, 5,730 tons of waste-paper, 51 tons of glass and 159 tons of plastic bottles (PET). The rubbish-material in the form of used newspapers, coffee-cups and <Fast-food> wrappings is however increasingly simply left behind by the consumer instead of recycling it correctly. Prominent Swiss on the posters show how the used items are to be recycled respectively dropped into the provided containers (bins). So far the SBB has still recycled less environmentally sound because most of the rubbish was collected in the same rubbish containers. At nine major railway stations, SBB is making a test with additional rubbish containers for the correct and separate collection (recycling) of PET, aluminum, glass and paper. Cleanliness inside trains and stations has a positive effect on the satisfaction of the customers. Mit einer Kampagne will die Schweizer Bahn SBB den <Kampf> gegen das <Liegenlassen> und <Wegwerfen> von <Abfall> in den Eisenbahn-Wagen und an den Bahnhoefen verstaerken. Im ganzen Jahr 2011 sammelten die 1 270 Putz-Mitarbeiter der SBB insgesamt 32 000 Tonnen Abfall in den Zuegen und an den Bahnhoefen ein. Das Abfall-Problem, auch als <Littering> bekannt nimmt jedoch weiter zu; jetzt will man die Reisenden mit einer Plakat-Kampagne darauf ansprechen. Zusaetzlich konnten im 2011 5 730 Tonnen Alt-Papier, 51 Tonnen Glas und 159 Tonnen Plastik-Flaschen (PET) der Wiederverwertung zugefuehrt werden. Das Abfall-Material in Form von Zeitungen, Kaffee-Becher und <Fast-Food>-Verpackungen bleibt jedoch zunehmend einfach liegen, anstatt dass es der Konsument korrekt entsorgt. Prominente auf den Plakaten zeigen, wie die gebrauchten Gegenstaende richtig in den vorhanden Behaelter entsorgt werden. Bisher wird bei der SBB noch zu wenig umwelt-gerecht entsorgt, da fast der ganze Abfall im gleichen Eimer landet. An neun grossen Bahnhoefen testet die SBB mit zusaetzlichen Abfall-Koerben die korrekte und getrennte Entsorgung von PET, Aluminium, Glas und Papier. Sauberkeit im Zug und am Bahnhof wirkt sich positiv auf die Kunden-Zufriedenheit aus. Aus Brauerei wird ein Boutique Hotel mit Bibliothek. チューリヒのビール醸造業、ヒューリマンの元醸造所が、26ヶ月の工事期間 を経て、現代的かつ文化的なシティーホテルが誕生した。醸造所の130年の歴 史はこれによって、新ブティックホテルに組み込まれた。投資額は2千400万 スイスフランに上った。同ホテルのユニークで特に魅力的な点は、33,000冊 のオリジナルの蔵書があるロビー後方の図書館。これらの本は、チューリヒ 市にあった古書店からのもの。客室からは、同じ敷地内にある、新しくすで にオープンしている温泉とスパに直接行ける。 （2011年3月2日付けターゲス・アンツァイガー紙より） With a complex reconstruction, the former beer brewery house of the previous Zurich brewery Huerlimann, was transformed into a modern, but still cultivated City hotel; the construction time took 26 months. The 130-years old history of the brewery was integrated into the new Boutique-Hotel; the investment amounted to 24 Mio. Swiss Francs. An unique and special attraction is the library with 33,000 genuine books, located in the back of the hotel lobby. The books are all originated from a former antique book shop in the City of Zurich; guest rooms have a direct access to the new, already earlier opened Zurich hot spring and spa located on the same area. Mit einem komplexen Umbau entstand in einer Bauzeit von 26 Monaten aus dem Brauhaus der ehemaligen Zuercher Brauerei Huerlimann, ein modernes, aber kultiviertes Stadthotel. Die 130-jaehrige Geschichte der Brauerei wurde dabei in das neue Boutique-Hotel integriert; die Investition betrug 24 Mio. Schweizer Franken. Eine einmalige und besondere Attraktion ist die Bibliothek mit 33,000 echten Buechern, welche sich im hinteren Teil der Eingangshalle befindet. HD means <high-definition> television quality. The change at the Swiss TV-station doesn't mean that immediately all programs are produced in the new HD-quality; different TV-stations in Germany have already started earlier to switch to the new technology. In order to watch TV-stations in HD-quality at home, people need the appropriate TV set (flat screen TV). Already nowadays, about 40% of the Swiss households with a TV set are properly equipped to receive the new HDTV-quality. In Japan, the Japanese public TV-station <NHK> broadcasted already in the year 2000 ordinary programs in HDTV-quality; in Japan, people think to introduce a so-called <Ultra-Hi-Vision> system in the future, which would bring once again a higher image resolution. The Swiss consumer organization has developed an information flyer, which objectively informs about the new <HD-TV> system (cf. URL-Link). The water shortage is one of the <most urgent> problems of the future; one third of the world population lives in regions, which have to struggle with a water deficit that writes the <Swiss Agency for development & co-operation (SDC)> in its press information. The Swiss <Deza/SDC> has therefore established together with 45 organizations this week the association <Swiss Water Partnership>; the participants intend to concentrate the major Swiss knowledge (know-how) in the field of water within the scope of that new <platform> and to commit themselves mutually for the solution of the world-wide water problems. The <Swiss Water Partnership> will be present in the public at the 6th World Water Forum in Marseille (France) in the middle of March, 2012. In Bezug auf Wasser gilt auch heute noch das Sprichwort <Ohne Wasser kein Leben>. (Tue. 28.02.2012 Smi) ツューリッヒ州議会は、167対0の全会一致で国民発議の「規則（お役所仕事 ）の代わりに環境保護」を承認した。これはFDPリヴェラルが2009年に発議 した議案。このイニシアティヴに依ってカントン・ツューリッヒでは建物の エネルギー関連措置が格段に簡素化される。建物の改修目的が環境に配慮す る場合、これまでの建築許可義務が可能な限り免除される。例えばエネルギ ー消費削減を目的とする建物の外装に、太陽エネルギーを利用する太陽光発 電装置を設置する場合は、新しく全ての建設区域で基本的に認められる。屋 上と外壁面に正しく設置された太陽光発電装置は今後当局に許可される。「 文化財保護」団体でさえも再生可能エネルギーの振興を支持しており、太陽 光発電装置の設置は指定保護建築物（旧市街など）の上でも考慮される。 （出典：2012年 2月28日付ターゲス・アンツァイガー紙） The Zurich cantonal parliament (Cantonal Council) has approved with 167 against 0 (nil) votes concordantly, the people's initiative <Environment instead of regulations (bureaucracy)>, which was launched by the party <FDP the Liberals> in 2009. Thanks to that initiative <energetic> (regarding to energy) reconstructions (renovations) of buildings will be considerably simplified in the Canton of Zurich. Renovations with the target to reconstruct (repair) houses ecologically, will be as far as possible exempted from the building permit obligation. Among that field will be considered for instance the reconstruction of building envelopes with the purpose of a reduction of the energy consumption; the use of sun-energy by the installation of solar plants (panels) will be basically allowed in all building zones. Solar plants, which are carefully integrated into roof and storefront surfaces, have to be authorized by the authorities in the future. Even the <cultural monument protection> organization supports the promotion of renewable energies; concerns exist however in case solar plants would be installed on the top of deserving protection buildings (e.g. old-town area). Dank dieser Initiative werden <energetische> (die Energie betreffend) Sanierungen von Gebaeuden im Kanton Zuerich erheblich vereinfacht. Sanierungen mit dem Ziel Haeuser oekologisch zu renovieren werden, neu soweit als moeglich von der Baubewilligungs-Pflicht befreit. Darunter fallen beispielsweise die Sanierung von Gebaeudehuellen zwecks Reduktion des Energie-Verbrauchs; die Nutzung von Sonnen-Energie durch den Einbau von Solar-Anlagen ist neu grundsaetzlich in allen (Bau-) Zonen erlaubt. The Government of Noda Yoshihiko recorded the study, contrary to the statutory provisions, only the middle of December 2011 on the list of the States documents. They explained that they had handled the official document as <private property> of Kondo Shunsuke, the author of the study. It is said in the study that the responsible leaders of <Tepco> had even considered to withdraw their staff completely from <Fukushima Dai- ichi>; only a sharp reaction of the then Prime Minister Kan Naoto caused a rethinking of the leadership of <Tepco> and Japan very narrowly escaped the <Worst-Case>. The Japanese lawyer Eto Takanori has prosecuted a claim against the Japanese Government by a civil law proceedings; the claim says that the Government hadn't observed its duty to protect Eto-san health as a citizen. The legal proceedings isn't open to the public and Eto-san shall not have received all pages of that study report for the proceedings. Sie erklaerte, sie habe das amtliche Dokument als <privates Eigentum> von Kondo Shunsuke, dem Autor der Studie, behandelt. In der Studie wird gesagt, dass die Verantwortlichen von <Tepco> sogar ueberlegt haetten, ihr Personal vollstaendig von <Fukushima Dai-ichi> abzuziehen; erst eine scharfe Reaktion des damaligen Premier Minister's Kan Naoto fuehrte bei der <Tepco> Fuehrung zum Umdenken und Japan ging sehr nahe am <Worst-Case> vorbei. Der japanische Anwalt Eto Takanori hat die japanische Regierung in einem zivil-rechtlichen Prozess eingeklagt, weil die Regierung ihre Pflicht, seine Gesundheit als Buerger zu schuetzen, nicht wahrgenommen habe.
