The election of Switzerland was confirmed by the <OSCE> in the meantime; Switzerland is going to lead the presidency jointly together with Serbia, in which that country will conduct the chairmanship for the year 2015. Switzerland leads the organization after 1996 already for the second time; thanks to the co-operation with Serbia, Switzerland hopes to contribute to a positive development in South-East Europe. The organization is composed of 56 member states and speaks out for democracy and human rights. Besides, the <OSCE> mediates in regional conflicts. Die Schweiz uebernimmt fuer das Jahr 2014 den Vorsitz der <Organiation fuer Sicherheit und Zusammenarbeit in Europa (OSZE)>. Die Wahl der Schweiz wurde von der <OSZE> inzwischen bestaetigt; die Schweiz fuehrt die Praesidentschaft gemeinsam mit Serbien durch, wobei dieses Land den Vorsitz fuer das Jahr 2015 inne hat. The new destination was inaugurated in a ceremony in presence of the Swiss Minister of Traffic Mrs. Doris Leuthard, H.E. the Chinese ambassador to Switzerland and representatives of <SWISS> at Zurich airport. Part of the flight schedule of <SWISS> are already the destinations of Hong Kong and Shanghai; the private airline company <Hainan Airlines> conducts since May 2011 direct flights between Peking and Zurich. The resumption of the destination into the transport network of <SWISS> is justified by the major demand coming from the field of economics and tourism. Federal Councilor Mrs. Doris Leuthard flew for a working visit to China where she will discuss the themes of wastewater disposal and alternative energy efficiency. Ab Samstag, 11. Februar 2012 bedient die Fluggesellschaft <SWISS> seit dem Jahr 2003 die chinesische Hauptstadt Peking wieder mit einem Direktflug ab Zuerich. Die neue Verbindung wurde in Anwesenheit des Schweizer Verkehrsministers Doris Leuthard, S.E. des chinesischen Botschafters in der Schweiz und Vertreter der <SWISS> am Flughafen Zuerich in einer Zeremonie feierlich eroeffnet. Im Flugplan von <SWISS> sind bereits die Destinationen Hong Kong und Shanghai; die private Fluggesellschaft <Hainan Airlines> fuehrt seit Mai 2011 direkte Fluege zwischen Peking und Zuerich durch. Die Wiederaufnahme der Verbindung in das Streckennetz der <SWISS> wird mit der grossen Nachfrage aus Wirtschaft und Tourismus begruendet. (Mon. 13.02.2012 Smi) 2012年2月11日の土曜日、深夜近く（午後11：45）にチューリヒ地方でマグ ニチュード4.2の地震が起きた。連邦工科大学チューリヒ校の地震委員会に よると、被害報告はない。地震が起きた際、爆発音のような大きな音がした ため、約500件の電話がチューリヒの警察に寄せられた。震源地はツーク湖 とエゲリ湖の間の地下30キロメートルの地点で、ドイツ語圏スイスの広い地 域で揺れが感じられた。1356年にバーゼルでマグニチュード6.9の大地震が 起きて街が崩壊した。チューリヒは今まで安全だと見られていたが、必ずし もそうではないことが明らかになった。 （2012年2月13日付けターゲス・アンツァイガー紙より） An earthquake with a magnitude of grade 4.2 rocked the region of Zurich on Saturday, February 11, 2012 shortly before midnight (11:45 pm.); according to the <Swiss Seismological Service (SED)> of the ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich), apparently no loss reports were made. The earthquake caused a loud bang and was realized similar to an explosion; about 500 worried inhabitants called up the police in Zurich. The epicenter of the earthquake was located in a depth of 30 kilometers in an area between the Lake of Zoug and the Lake of Aegeri; the tremors of the earthquake were sensible in other regions of the German part of Switzerland. At the year 1356, an earthquake with a magnitude of grade 6.9 destroyed the City of Basle; Zurich is however more at risk as so far expected. Ein Erdbeben der Staerke 4,2 erschuetterte am Samstag 11. Companies can borrow capital partly at more favorable conditions in US-Dollar than in Euro; besides, US- investors are interested to accept European bonds debtors in their asset mix (portfolio mix)(according to a statement by Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). According to information by the French bank <Societe Generale>, the share of the currency US-Dollar with regard to bonds of European enterprises shall increase by another 7% in 2012. Schweizer sind sehr zufrieden mit ihrem Wald. (Fri. 17.02.2012 Smi) スイス人は森を回復と休養の場として好んでいる事が、連邦環境局の最新の 調査で示された。所謂「森の監視」に依って、当局は森に対する国民の感じ 方を知ろうとした。回答を寄せた88%の人々は、森を訪れる事に非常に満足 しており、回答した95%の人々すべてが自然を訪れる事で寛いだ経験をした と答えている。これ等の人々は森を余暇と回復の場として大切に思っており 、森で人々は自然体験をしたいと思っている。回答者の殆どは森に行った後 は回復し、確実に寛いだと感じている。沢山の人が散歩やハイキング、スポ ーツ、又は自然観察に森を利用している。森に行く人は遊歩道、野外炉、ベ ンチ、遊び場等の設備を喜んで利用する。人々が森で迷惑に思うのは、自転 車、ロープコース、乗馬道等。森に居るのは平均90分で、都会の傍に在る森 は人々にとって余暇と寛ぎの空間として重要。 （出典：2012年2月17日付NZZ紙オンライン版/ブリッ ク夕刊紙） Swiss people <love> their forest as place for regeneration and relaxation; that showed the result of the latest survey by the Federal Office for Environment (Bafu). With the so-called <Forest Monitoring> the authorities wanted to know what kind of relationship the population has to the forest. 88% of the questioned persons were very satisfied with their <forest visits> and 95% of all questioned people experienced their visit at nature as relaxing. The people appreciate the forest as place for leisure and regeneration; in the forest, the people want to experience the nature. Most of the questioned people felt recovered after a visit in the forest and significantly relaxed. Many people use the forest for walks, for hiking and sports or the watching of nature. The forest visitors are pleased to use the infrastructure at the forest such as nature studies path, fireplaces, benches or playgrounds. The people feel disturbed for instance by cyclists (bikers), rope jungle parks or bridle paths for horses in the forest. A forest visit take on the average about 90 minutes and in the proximity of a town, the forest has an important function as leisure and recreation space for the population. Die Schweizer <lieben> ihren Wald als Ort fuer die Erholung und Entspannung; dies ergab die neueste Umfrage des Bundesamts fuer Umwelt (Bafu). Mit dem so-genannten <Waldmonitoring> wollten die Behoerden wissen, was fuer ein Verhaeltnis die Bevoelkerung zum Wald hat. 88% der befragten Personen waren sehr zufrieden mit ihren <Waldbesuchen> und 95% aller Befragten erlebten ihren Besuch in der Natur als entspannend. Die Leute schaetzen den Wald als Ort fuer die Freizeit und Erholung; im Wald wollen die Menschen die Natur erleben. Die meisten Befragten fuehlten sich nach einem Besuch im Wald erholt und wesentlich entspannt. Viele Leute nutzen den Wald fuer Spaziergaenge, zum Wandern und Sport oder zur Beobachtung der Natur. Die Waldbesucher nutzen gerne die Infrastruktur im Wald wie Naturlehr-Pfade, Feuerstellen, Baenke oder Spielplaetze. Gestoert fuehlen sich die Menschen beispielsweise von Radfahrern (Biker), Seilparks oder Reitwegen im Wald. Ein Waldbesuch dauert durchschnittlich zirka 90 Minuten und in Stadtnaehe hat der Wald fuer die Bevoelkerung eine wichtige Funktion als Freizeit- und Erholungsraum. The additional measures target at the fight against deflation and the strong Japanese currency; with a sum of nearly 100 billion Euro the current bond purchases shall be once more increased. The financing of enterprises and the State shall be further eased with that. The <Bank of Japan> will purchase on a larger scale Government bonds; besides, Shirakawa-san has set an inflation target of 1% in order to emphasize his fight against deflation. Der Gouverneur der japanischen Zentralbank Shirakawa Masaaki kuendigte diese Woche weitere Massnahmen an, mit dem Ziel <ein nachhaltiges Wirtschafts-Wachstum bei stabilen Preisen> zu bewirken. Die zusaetzlichen Massnahmen zielen auf den Kampf gegen die Deflation und die starke japanische Waehrung; mit fast 100 Milliarden Euro sollen die aktuellen Anleihenskaeufe nochmals gesteigert werden. Die Finanzierung von Unternehmen und des Staates soll damit weiter erleichtert werden. (Sat. 11.02.2012 Smi) 新規の全長5km、重さ325トンの天然ガスのパイプラインが、現在湖底に建設 中。この新しいガスパイプラインはフェルトゥバッハ（カントン・ツューリ ッヒ）からアルテンドルフ（カントン・シュヴィーツ）までで、費用は350万 スイスフランを要し、2012年5月までには完成する予定。家庭と産業界の需要 が現状の供給量では足りなくなり、過去10年間で倍増した。鉄管は現在手作 業で溶接作業が進められていて、溶接された接合部はその後レントゲンで起 こり得る不具合を検査される。湖へのパイプの運搬は浮きを使い、パイプは 所定の位置の湖底に沈められる。 （出典：2012年2月11日付ターゲス・アンツァイガー紙） A new natural gas (NG) pipeline with a length of 5 kilometers and a weight of 325 tons is presently built and installed on the submarine ground. The new gas pipeline is directed from Feldbach (Canton Zurich) up to Altendorf (Canton Schwyz); the costs amount to 3,5 Mio. Swiss Francs and the works shall be completed up to May 2012. Based on the major private and industrial demand for a connection to the natural gas (NG) network, the existing capacity isn't anymore adequate; the overturn (sales) has doubled in the past ten years. The steel pipes are presently welded together by manual work and the weld seam will then be investigated on possible failure by X-rays. The transport of the pipes on the lake is conducted by using floats; the pipes will plunged on the submarine ground at the fixed locations. Eine neue Erdgas-Leitung mit einer Laenge von 5 Kilometern und einem Gewicht von 325 Tonnen wird derzeit gebaut und auf dem Seegrund installiert. Die neue Gasleitung fuehrt von Feldbach (Kt. Zuerich) bis nach Altendorf (Kt. Schwyz); die Kosten betragen 3,5 Mio. Schweizer Franken und die Arbeiten sollen bis im Mai 2012 abgeschlossen sein. Aufgrund der grossen privaten und gewerblichen Nachfrage fuer einen Anschluss an das Erdgas-Netz genuegte die vorhandene Kapazitaet nicht mehr; der Absatz hat sich in den letzten 10 Jahren verdoppelt. Die Stahlrohre werden derzeit in Handarbeit zusammen geschweisst und die Schweiss-Naht wird nachher mit Roentgen-Strahlen auf moegliche Fehler untersucht. Der Transport der Rohre auf dem See erfolgt mit Schwimmkoerpern; an der geplanten Stelle werden die Rohre auf dem Seegrund versenkt.
