The project of the <new> newspaper is financed by the wealthy Basle Roche Pharmaceutical heir Mrs. Beatrice Oeri and the editorial staff consists of former members of the <Basler Zeitung (BaZ)>. The new newspaper is seen as an <alternative> to the existing, local newspaper <Basler Zeitung (BaZ)>; the first edition of the newspaper was judged by journalist circles as good and successful. It has to be proved, whether the editorial staff can maintain the quality of the first edition, because in the future they have only one week and not anymore months for the preparation of the news and contents. Diese Woche ist in Basel erstmals eine neue Zeitung gedruckt und zugestellt worden; es handelt sich um die Zeitung <TagesWoche>, welche woechentlich erscheint. The ranking list shows the investments in the field of <Research & Development (R&D)> among 1,000 enterprises; the <Roche Group> spent 9.6 billion US Dollars in the year 2010, that is an increase by 1.5% compared to the previous year. On the ranking list are a total of 27 Swiss groups, among them the pharmaceutical group <Novartis> ranked as number 3 and the group <Nestle> ranked as number 90. The wind energy plant serves the aim to produce electricity for the operation of the artificial snow making (snow-gun), which are generally operated at night. Investigations have shown that particularly in winter (also at night) there is a lot of wind, which now can be transformed into ecological electricity. The new wind energy plant can produce for the moment 10 kilowatt (kW) electricity and at the final stage, it shall be able to generate a performance of 180,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity. The innovative tourism enterprise <Sattel-Hochstuckli Ltd.> is enthusiastic that with the new techniques the environment is not disturbed and they see the project as an important milestone in the implementation of their sustainability strategy. Das Elektrizitaetswerk des Kantons Zuerich (EKZ) konnte diese Woche die erste <Klein-Windanlage>, welche Strom basierend auf der <H-Rotor- Technologie> produziert im Skigebiet von <Sattel-Hochstuckli (SZ)> [Swiss Knife Valley] in Betrieb nehmen. Die Windanlage dient der Produktion von Strom fuer den Betrieb der Beschneiungsanlagen (Schneekanonen), welche grundsaetzlich in der Nacht laufen. Abklaerungen zeigten, dass es besonders im Winter (auch nachts) viel Wind gibt, welcher jetzt in oekologische Elektrizitaet umgewandelt werden kann. Die neue Wind-Energieanlage kann vorlaeufig 10 Kilowatt (kW) Strom generieren und im End-Ausbau soll eine Leistung von 180 000 Kilowatt-Stunden (kWh) Strom bestehen. The distribution of his products he did under his own management for ten years and then he established his own company. Today, he is a modest entrepreneur (patron), who produces with his 90 employees, machines for aluminum wrapping, among others for the aluminum capsule for <Nespresso> of Nestle. Furthermore, his enterprise manufactures aseptic wrappings for medicinal devices, bins for cat food and for jam used in <flight- catering>. His company (Leuthold Mechanic Ltd.) is market leader in the field of the production of machines for the aluminum wrapping industry; 50% of the products are exported to customers on the whole world. The present Euro/Swiss Franc rate of CHF 1.20 per Euro isn't ideal and he takes over partly the extra costs. He says: <The customers order at his firm, because they need his machines>. He said further that: <Precision and Quality> are his trade marks; therefore, he produces only in Switzerland, because he can guarantee such virtues only in his own country!! In the meantime, he also manufactures (order-based) aluminum bins by his own in order to further develop his company and in order to know better the needs of his customers. Eine Schweizer Erfolgsgeschichte vom <Handwerker zum Unternehmer>; in den siebziger Jahren entwickelte der Werkzeugmacher Heinz Leuthold nach der Arbeit im Keller spezielle Bestandteile fuer die Maschinen- Industrie. Den Vertrieb seiner Produkte erledigte er unter eigener Fuehrung waehrend zehn Jahren und dann gruendete er seine eigene Firma. Now, even an actual study, which was joint-financed by skeptics of the climate change, proved that the earth had effectively heated. The study within the scope of distinguished <Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature> project came to the conclusion that the temperatures had increased worldwide by an average of one degree Celsius since the 1950ties. For Professor Richard A. Muller of the <University of Berkeley>, the surprising fact is that the new results are so strongly conform to those values of other groups already published. The study proves now, that the temperatures have increased in rural regions too. In the past 12 months, in particular the prices for owned condominiums and one family houses have increased nationwide by 4.8% respectively by 4.5%. Other independent market observers and real estate evaluators speak clear words and warn about the consequences of <astronomic> prices! Regarding to such prices, the reselling of the real estates is not anymore assured and in case of price modifications on the real estate market, house owners could lose own funds or banks might ask for loan payback in case of insufficient collateral. It is said that nowadays transactions are taking place based on <overpaid> prices. In certain regions, there is an <overheating> and it is said again once a correction has to be expected. According to financial auditors, the enterprise shall have paid 773 Mio. US Dollars for the purchase of three companies; that is said to be a considerable overpayment, because those companies are said to be nearly valueless and from an unrelated industry. Besides, at the takeover of a British enterprise 687 Mio. US Dollars shall be paid in form of consulting fees; that corresponds to one third of the total purchase price. According to the paper, that sum is said to be the thirty-fold of a normal compensation. The Exchange Supervisory Authority in Tokyo intends now to start an investigation in the matter of <Olympus>. According to the newspaper, <Corporate Governance> has not yet the same standard in Japan compared to elsewhere; the association <Keidanren> enforced a liability limitation and <weakened> with that the objective of a <honest> (good) <Corporate Governance>. Thanks to the extraordinary professional education system, Switzerland has the lowest youth unemployment in Europe. Switzerland is a model for other states in that professional field; England showed great interest on the Swiss system and would like to change its own system according to the Swiss model. In Switzerland, presently 230,000 youths make a certified professional education; 65% of the school-leavers (youth who finished school) are annually interested in such a professional education career. Bei der Berufs-Weltmeisterschaft (World-Skills-Competition) 2011 in London wurden die Schweizer Teams in den verschiedenen Berufs-Sparten mit insgesamt 17 Medaillen ausgezeichnet. Damit bleibt die (kleine) Schweiz in Europa weiterhin das <Beste> Land, das heisst die Nummer 1; weltweit belegt die Schweiz nach Japan den 3. Rang. Dank diesem hervorragenden Berufsausbildungs-System hat die Schweiz in Europa die tiefste Jugend-Arbeitslosigkeit. Die Schweiz ist in diesem Bereich ein Vorbild fuer andere Staaten; England zeigt grosses Interesse am Schweizer Modell und moechte das eigene System entsprechend umstellen. In der Schweiz machen derzeit 230 000 Jugendliche eine Berufsausbildung; 65% der Schulabgaenger interessieren sich jaehrlich fuer eine solche Berufsausbildung.
