Nominated for the prize were 13 projects; a jury made the selection out of it. The partners of the foundation <Philias> are 28 important Swiss enterprises, among them Nestle and Microsoft. The focus of <Philias> is based on the <social responsibility of the enterprises> (Corporate Social Responsibility/CSR) to promote and implement it. Within the scope of the project <Gate Catering>, 55 persons of the social institution <Wisli> work in the <Catering> enterprises <Gate Gourmet> in the normal working process; they are people with physical, psychical or social problems. Assigned to the Organization <Wisli> are people who are fit for work, however have dropped out of the labor market or haven't even managed to get into it at all. Regarding to the project <Gate Catering>; that isn't a <charitable> matter, but a <business> co-operation, with which both sides have profited and learnt from each other. Die Stiftung <Philias> mit Sitz in Genf vergab kuerzlich den <Humagora-Preis> fuer das beste Sozialprojekt 2009 an <Gate Catering>, ein Zusammenarbeits-Projekt zwischen dem Zuercher Verein fuer Sozialpsychiatrie und dem welt-groessten <Airline-Catering> Unternehmen <Gate Gourmet> in Kloten. Fuer den Preis waren 13 Projekte vorgeschlagen; eine Jury nahm die Selektion daraus vor. Die Partner der Stiftung <Philias> sind 28 bedeutende Schweizer Konzerne, darunter Nestle und Microsoft. Der Fokus von <Philias> liegt darin die <soziale Verantwortung der Unternehmen> (Corporate Social Responsibility/CSR) zu foerdern und umzusetzen. He is a professional electrician who sold his own company in 2009; because he wanted to continue to use his professional skills, he established his company with retired people, which is so far unique in Switzerland. Retired people (seniors), who have services or skills to offer can register at the new company. They register themselves on the Internet-Platform and they exercise their activities as independent entrepreneur. Before they are allowed to join the company, the founder leads personal (job) interviews with them and references have to be submitted; the reliability and steadiness of the registered service providers are very important. The recommended price for one working hour of a senior is SFr. 35 (about Yen 3,000). Presently 16 seniors and the founder of the company offer their services; further service providers and orders are very welcome. His company is still not yet well known enough because many retired people do not have their own personal computer with an Internet access. Er ist Elektroinstallateur und verkaufte seine Firma im 2009; da er seine beruflichen Faehigkeiten weiterhin nutzen wollte, errichtete er eine <Renterfirma>, welche in der Schweiz bisher einmalig ist. Pensionerte (Rentner), welche Dienstleistungen anzubieten haben koennen sich bei ihm melden. Sie registrieren sich auf seiner Internet-Plattform, wobei sie ihre Taetigkeit als selbststaendige Unternehmer ausueben. Vor der Zulassung werden persoenliche Bewerbungsgespraeche gefuehrt und Referenzen eingeholt; die Seriositaet und Zuverlaessigkeit der angemeldeten Dienstleister ist sehr wichtig. Der Richtpreis fuer eine Arbeitsstunde eines Rentners betraegt SFr. 35 (ca. Yen 3,000). Derzeit bieten 16 Pensionierte und er selbst seine Dienste an; weitere Dienstleister und Auftraege sind sehr willkommen. The top management of the company will work at the new headquarters too. <INEOS> is the worldwide third-biggest petro chemistry enterprise; the Group reached the present size based on several takeovers in the past years. The enterprise produced an annual turnover of 47 billion US-Dollars and it has a workforce of 15,500 employees. Nach Gespraechen mit seinen Glaeubigern hat das britische Chemie- Unternehmen <INEOS> endgueltig beschlossen seinen Hauptsitz (Geschaeftssitz) in die Schweiz zu verlegen; gemaess dem Schweizer Radio wird der neue Sitz im Kanton Waadt (VD) am Genfersee errichtet und dadurch entstehen zirka 20 Arbeitsplaetze. For the first time, Mr. Alex Delaloye came in touch with Scottish Whisky in the year 1997; then he discovered that a <Single Malt> whisky should be tasted like a good wine. In the year 2000, he started to produce his own Swiss whisky under the label (name) of <Swhisky>; before, that wasn’t allowed in Switzerland by law. Regarding to quality he wanted to put his own brand in competition with the <Scottish> brands>; in the meantime, his Swiss <Swhisky> received many awards among others the award of <Best Whisky of the Year 2003>. Per year, he can produce 8,000 to 9000 bottles and his <Single Malt> is matured in oak barrels, which are made especially mad by a craftsman in Spain. Ein Walliser ist von Beruf eigentlich Physiotherapeut und Weinbauer, seine Leidenschaft ist jedoch das Brennen von Whisky. Erstmals kam Alex Delaloye im Jahr 1997 mit schottischem Whisky in Kontakt; dabei entdeckte er, dass ein <Single Malt> Whisky wie ein feiner Wein degustiert werden sollte. Im Jahr 2000 begann er mit dem Brennen eines eigenen Schweizer Whiskys, unter den Namen <Swhisky>; frueher war dies in der Schweiz nicht erlaubt. Bezueglich Qualitaet wollte er mit seiner Eigenmarke mit den <Schotten> in Konkurrenz treten; inzwischen erhielt sein Schweizer <Swhisky> viele Auszeichnungen unter anderem die Auszeichnung <Bester Whisky des Jahres 2003>. Pro Jahr kann er 8000 bis 9000 Flaschen herstellen und sein <Single Malt> reift in Eichenfaessern, welche ein Handwerker in Spanien speziell anfertigt. Then a major part of the worldwide production was originated from that mine; in the year 1923, the last mine was closed and since then the inhabitants had (for lack of work) to migrate. A former inhabitant and in the meantime successful Japanese entrepreneur returned however back to his home town and opened there a new factory, the enterprise <Nakamura Brace>. Here in the countryside he achieved a great deal for his region and his company offers now employment for seventy persons. As young man he trained and was educated as a prosthesis craftsman in Kyoto; then, he recognized that the Japanese prosthetics wasn't on the latest level (up-to-date). Therefore, he went abroad for further studies in his subject and returned back to Omori in 1974. First, he started to build the first prostheses in a garage. His technique (precision work) he developed into a quasi <Medicine-Art>, as he said by himself; his employees have therefore mostly studied at an academy of arts. His prostheses are made of silicone by hand, for instance artificial limbs, fingers etc. and are sold worldwide. Besides, he invested lots of money into the renovation of local historic buildings and saved them from ruin. Thanks to his initiative and commitment the <Iwami-Silver mine> was registered as a Unesco World Heritage. Die Stadt Omori (Shimane-ken) war einmal bekannt wegen ihrer Naehe zum Bergwerk <Iwami-Ginzan> wo in der Vergangenheit Silber und Kupfer abgebaut wurde. Damals kam ein wesentlicher Teil der weltweiten Produktion aus dieser Mine; im Jahr 1923 wurde das letzte Bergwerk geschlossen und seither mussten die Einwohner (mangels Beschaeftigung) auswandern. Ein ehemaliger Einwohner und inzwischen erfolgreicher japanischer Unternehmer kehrte jedoch in seinen Heimatort zurueck und eroeffnete hier eine neue Fabrik, das Unternehmen <Nakamura Brace>. Hier auf dem Lande leistete er Grosses fuer seine Region und sein Unternehmen bietet jetzt siebzig Personen Arbeit. Als junger Mann bildete er sich in Kyoto zum Prothesen-Handwerker aus; damals erkannte er, dass die japanische Prothetik nicht auf dem neuesten Stand (up-to-date) war. Er bildete sich deshalb im Ausland auf seinem Fachgebiet weiter und kehrte 1974 nach Omori zurueck, wo er zuerst in einer Garage die ersten Prothesen herstellte. Seine Technik (Praezisionsarbeit) hat er quasi zu einer <Medizin-Kunst> entwickelt, wie er selber sagt; seine Mitarbeiter haben deshalb meistens an einer Kunstakademie studiert. Seine Prothesen werden aus Silikon von Hand gefertigt, beispielsweise kuenstliche Gliedmassen, Finger usw. und werden weltweit verkauft. Nebenbei investierte er viel Geld in die Renovation von lokalen, historischen Gebaeuden und rettete diese vor dem Zerfall. Dank seiner Initiative und Einsatz wurden die <Iwami- Silberminen> als Unesco Welt-Kultur-Erbe registriert. Their customers can benefit from that profit. The major Swiss insurance company <Die Mobiliar>, a co-operative has no obligation to distribute dividends; thanks to a profitable business year in 2009, their customers get back 100 Mio. Swiss Francs as premium reductions (by 10% to 20%)!! <Die Mobiliar> spends besides money for charitable objectives or for sponsoring (e.g. Berne bear-park, archive building of the monastery Einsiedeln etc.) The party <SP Schweiz> requests in their new party program an <economics democracy> and promote therefore the <co-operative> as alternative to the <limited company> (Ltd.). Die grosse Schweizer Versicherung <Die Mobiliar>, eine Genossenschaft muss keine Dividenden ausschuetten; dank einem profitablen Geschaeftsjahr 2009 erhalten ihre Kunden 100 Mio. Their research is based on the so-called <Reverse Translational Medicine> procedure, whereas healthy, elderly people and not ill people are taken as base (model) for the research. In the foreground is here the development of antibodies and as end-product vaccinations against the Alzheimer disease; the Zurich company is supported by the US-company <Biogen Idec>. Other Swiss pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis, Roche, AC-Immune or Morphosys (Germany) develop vaccine against Alzheimer too. Das Unternehmen <Neurimmune Therapeutics> in Schlieren (Kt. ZH) wurde mit dem <ZKB-Pionierpreis> ausgezeichnet, welcher mit rund SFr. 100 000 dotiert ist. Der Preis der <Zuercher Kantonalbank> zeichnet die Firma dafuer aus, dass diese <eine grundsaetzlich neuartige Methode fuer die Entwicklung von Medikamenten>, insbesondere fuer die Behandlung und Vorbeugung bei der Alzheimer-Krankheit entwickelt hat. Ihre Forschung basiert dabei auf dem so-genannten <Reverse Translational Medicine> Verfahren, wobei gesunde, alte Menschen und nicht Kranke als Grundlage (Model) fuer die Forschung dienen.
