Japan Airlines haelt an <Oneworld> fest (Wed. 10.02.2010 Smi) 日本の航空会社JAL(Japan Airlines)は今週、航空連合「ワンワールド」に 留まることを決定した。また、同じく「ワンワールド」に属する米国航空会 社「アメリカン航空」との提携も進める方針である。他の米国航空会社「デ ルタ航空」は、JALが「スカイチーム」グループに移籍することをを求めてい た。JALの前経営陣は「デルタ航空」との提携を望んでいたが、JALの稲盛和 夫新会長は、会社の建て直しの時に、新パートナーとの複雑な提携は避ける べきと判断した。さらに、デルタと提携すると、両社による日本・米国間の 長距離飛行の市場占有を招き、米国当局がなんらかの処置を行う恐れがあっ た。（独占禁止処置）（2010年2月10日付けNZZより） The Japanese Airline JAL (Japan Airlines) decided to remain in the airline alliance of <Oneworld> this week. Besides, they are aiming to expand the partnership with the US-Airline <American Air Lines>, which is a member of the same alliance too. The other US-Airline <Delta Airlines> wanted to push JAL into a change in the alliance of the <Sky Team>. The former management of JAL was in favor of a co- operation with <Delta Air Lines>. The new chairman of JAL Inamori Kazuo however did not want to complicate the restructuring of the enterprise with a new partner. Furthermore, they were afraid that an alliance with <Delta> could lead to a market control on routes between Japan and the USA; that might have initiated measures by the US-authorities (due to restraints of competition). Die Japanische Fluggesellschaft JAL (Japan Airlines) entschied sich diese Woche fuer einen Verbleib in der Flug-Allianz von <Oneworld>. Ausserdem wird ein Ausbau der Partnerschaft mit der US- Fluggesellschaft <American Air Lines>, welche ebenfalls der Allianz angehoert, angestrebt. Die andere US-Fluggesellschaft <Delta Airlines> wollte JAL zu einem Wechsel in die Allianz von <Sky Team> draengen. Die fruehere Fuehrung (Management) von JAL bevorzugte eine Zusammenarbeit mit <Delta Air Lines>. Der neue Vorstands-Vorsitzende von JAL Inamori Kazuo wollte jedoch die Sanierung des Unternehmens nicht noch mit einem neuen Partner komplizieren. (Quelle: NZZ vom 10.02.2010) http://www.oneworld.com/?languageCode=en http://www.jal.com/ 2) ドイツ、スイスのトリチウム蛍光文字盤に反対 Germany is against Swiss luminous dial (Wed. 10.02.2010 Smi) Deutschland ist gegen Schweizer Leuchtzifferblaetter ドイツ環境省は、放射線保護通達により、トリチウム蛍光文字盤を禁止する方 針である。トリチウム蛍光文字盤は大変有名で、多くのスイスの時計会社で使 用されている。例えば、時計のブランド「ルミノックス」も使用しており、同 時計は米国の戦闘機パイロットに愛用されている。ドイツの禁止措置は、明ら かにスイスを標的にしており、スイス時計産業における失業が惹き起こされる 恐れがある。トリチウム蛍光文字盤が発しうる放射能は、ばかばかしいほどに わずかだと言われている。時計が破壊された場合、放射線が発生することが考 えられるが、その場合でも極めて微量である。該当するスイスの時計メーカー は、ドイツに、禁止ではなく、放射線量の限界値を設置することを求めている 。（2010年2月10日付け20ミヌーテンより） The German Federal Office of Environment intends to establish a ban on Tritium luminous dials in the radiation protection regulation. The mentioned clock face (dials) are very famous and are used by different Swiss watch makers. The watch brand <Luminox> uses e.g. that kind of part; the watch is among others used by US-fighter pilots. A German ban would be cleared directed against Switzerland and could lead to a loss in working places in the Swiss watch industry! A possible radioactivity, which could be caused by Tritium luminous dials, is said to be ridiculous. A radiation could only be imaginable, when the watch would be destroyed; even in that case, the radiation level would be negligible. The affected Swiss watch enterprises have asked Germany to set a safety value (limit) with regard to radiation instead of a ban. Das deutsche Bundes-Umweltministerium beabsichtigt ein Verbot von Tritium-Leuchtzifferblaettern in die Strahlenschutz-Verordnung aufzunehmen. Die genannten Uhren-Zifferblaetter sind sehr bekannt und werden von verschiedenen Schweizer-Uhrenherstellern verwendet. Die Uhrenmarke <Luminox> (Brand) benuetzt beispielsweise das Bestandteil; die Uhr wird unter anderem von US-Kampfpiloten getragen. Ein deutsches Verbot waere klar gegen die Schweiz gerichtet und koennte zum Verlust von Arbeitsplaetzen in der Schweizer Uhrenindustrie fuehren! Eine moegliche Radioaktivitaet, welche vom Tritium- Leuchtzifferblatt ausgehen koennte, wird als laecherlich bezeichnet. Eine radioaktive Strahlung waere hoechstens dann denkbar, wenn die Uhr zerstoert wuerde; sogar in diesem Fall waere die Strahlendosis verschwindend gering. The museum is situated inside the <Saitama- Super-Arena> complex, a big superstructure (estate) near the station. Since the opening in the year 2000, 0,5 Mio. visitors have come to the museum in order to pay their last respects to the famous member of the <Beatles>. The fame and celebrity of <John Lennon> has diminished and the <Saitama-Super-Arena> complex is an enterprise listed on the Stock Exchange! Ono Yoko, the Japanese spouse of <John Lennon> said: <Quote: If the museum would never move, then it would be a grave>. The museum introduced the life of the <Beatle> impressively and broadly; one can experience also how he and his wife Ono Yoko were engaged in the peace movement. In the year 1975, the common son <Sean> was born; on December 8th, 1980, <John Lennon> became the victim of an assassination in New York. The report of the senate mentioned among others the names of the banks <Bank of America>, <Citibank> and the British <HSBC>; the report showed that the control about the origin of the funds (money) were partly insufficient. The Democratic Senator Carl Levin, one of the responsible people for the report stated that the banks should refuse all illegal earnings (black money). The examples quoted in the report had happened during the period of 2004 to 2008. The Star-Architect was victorious with his proposal (blueprint) <Divers (c)ity> (City of diversity) against 90 notable competitors out of twelve countries! The super project is located directly near the Zurich Airport and has a ground area of 37,000 square meters as well as a floor space of about 200,000 square meters. The whole project shall cost around one billion Swiss Francs and the start of the construction is planned for 2012. The blueprint from Japan convinced the jury by its atmosphere, which was characterized by a Swiss reservation and a high amenity value. Das beruehmte japanische Architekurbuero <Yamamoto Riken & Field Shop> gewann den Architektur-Wettbewerb fuer das Projekt <The Circle> am Flughafen Zuerich; der Star-Architekt setzte sich mit seinem Vorschlag <Divers (c)ity> (Stadt der Vielfalt) gegenueber 90 angesehenen Mitbewerber aus zwoelf Laendern durch! Das Grossprojekt befindet sich direkt beim Flughafen Zuerich und hat eine Grundflaeche von 37 000 Quadratmetern sowie eine Nutzflaeche von zirka 200 000 Quadratmetern. Das gesamte Projekt soll rund eine Milliarde Schweizer Franken kosten und der Baubeginn ist fuer 2012 geplant. Despite minus temperatures and chilliness, about 12,000 carnival enthusiastic people gathered in the Old Town of Lucerne for the <Fritschi-wake-up call> on 5:00 a.m. in the early morning. The <Big Bang> opened the carnival season of 2010. Afterwards, the many <Carnival Music Groups> masked and costumed people and onlookers took over the streets and lanes in town. In the afternoon, about 24,000 people watched the traditional cortege (procession) of the <Fritschi-Guild>; on it participated many groups and music bands which presented their decorative masks, carriages and themes. On Monday afternoon, there will be another carnival procession, the one of the <Wey-Guild> with the symbol of the <Frog>. In der Hochburg der Fasnacht in der Innerschweiz in Luzern begann am <Schmutzigen Donnerstag> (11.02.2010) die diesjaehrige Fasnacht. Trotz Minustemperaturen und Kaelte versammelten sich morgens um 05:00 Uhr zirka 12 000 Fasnachts-Begeisterte in der Luzerner Altstadt zur <Fritschi-Tagwache>; der <Urknall> eroeffnete die Fasnacht 2010. Anschliessend nahmen die vielen <Guuggenmusigen>, Maskierte und Schaulustige die Strassen und Gassen <in Besitz>. Am Nachmittag sahen zirka 24 000 Leute den traditionellen Umzug der <Fritschi-Zunft>; daran beteiligt waren viele Gruppen und <Musigen>, welche ihre aufwendigen Masken, Wagen und Themen zeigten. Am Montag-Nachmittag gibt es dann einen weiteren Fasnachts-Umzug, denjenigen der <Wey- Zunft>, mit dem Symbol des <Frosches>. According to the Computer- Market expert Robert Weiss, <Computers> can be purchased the cheapest in Switzerland all over Europe! The price differences compared to abroad are significant and according to the retailer <Migros> can reach with regard to <Notebooks> and <Accessories> 10 to 15 percent; that much one can save when making the shopping in Switzerland! In the meantime, people in the neighbor countries have noticed it and in particular French and Italian come to Switzerland for such kind of shopping. The Ryokan family had prepared a delicious meal, Kaiseki style which included a local beef specialty, the famous <Murakami-Beef> prepared in <Ishiyaki-style>; it is originated form the Japan seaside region. In the Myoko-kogen region the famous <Niigata-Koshihikari-Rice> is cultivated. The next day, by recommendation of the farmer, we prepared to visit the famous <Tokagkushi-Jinjya> (Nagano-pref.), with the highlight of the <Okusha> (5 shrines).
