He is a member of the Free Democratic Party (FDP); with his youthful age, he is the youngest member of parliament of the last 100 years in the chamber of States (Staenderat). Already at the age of 20 he was elected in his first political function at his residential municipality and at the age of 21 years, he was elected as deputy for the Cantonal Parliament in Neuchatel. He did his matriculation exam (university entrance exam) with the special features in Greek and Latin. He intends to complete his studies in Law soon. In the category, <Best Airports Worldwide>, <Zurich Airport> has become the number two of the world now, after the <Singapore Changi> Airport. With that, Zurich has outperformed Dubai-Airport, which is ranked only as number three. In the Category <Best Transit Airport of Europe>, Zurich was ranked as number one, ahead of Munich and the London City Airport. The ceremony of handing over the awards took place in Frankfurt within the scope of the <Business Traveller Award>. The ranking of airports has a particular importance, because the evaluation was done by the readers of the distinguished magazine <Business Traveller> within the scope of a survey. Zurich is among other facts popular because of the short transit time (connection time) of less than 40 minutes, relatively low airport taxes and his extraordinary infrastructure (shopping, hotels etc.) Der Flughafen Zuerich wird immer <besser> und <beliebter> bei den Flugpassieren. In der Kategorie <Beste Flughaefen weltweit> wurde <Zuerich Airport> jetzt die Nummer 2 der Welt nach dem <Singapore Changi> Airport. Damit ueberholte Zuerich Dubai-Airport, welcher noch auf Rang 3 liegt. The percentage of foreign nationals in Swiss prisons has increased from 69,7% to 70,2% in 2009; increased too has the percentage of women inmates from 5,8% to 6,1%. The number of prisoners increased by about 5% in 2009 compared to the previous year. The reason for the increase is based in the fact that judges convict people to severer punishment than before. In some cantons, the prisons are occupied already at a capacity of more than 100%. Gemaess der aktuellen Statistik des Bundesamtes fuer Statistik (BfS) waren die Schweizer Gefaengnisse im Jahr 2009 zu 91% belegt; die Insassen in Schweizer Gefaengnissen sind groesstenteils Auslaender! Der Anteil an Auslaendern in Schweizer Gefaengnissen erhoehte sich von 69,7% auf 70,2% im 2009; zugenommen hat ebenfalls der Anteil an Frauen von 5,8% auf 6,1%. Die Zahl der Gefangenen erhoehte sich im 2009 um rund 5% gegenueber dem Vorjahr. Der Grund fuer die Zunahme liegt darin, dass die Richter wieder strengere Strafen aussprechen. In einzelnen Kantonen sind die Gefaengnisse bereits zu mehr als 100% gefuellt. The event caused major traffic jams in the larger environment of the airport; despite <many people> complain about aircraft noise, they came all in a large number to see the new <Superjumbo> on site. There were people that were amazed about the low aircraft noise caused by the new <Airbus A380>. So far, the <A380> serves only about 12 airports (destinations) worldwide; Zurich airport will be one of them too as from March 28, 2010! From that date on, <Singapore Airlines> serves Zurich Airport daily with an <Airbus A380>. Presently, the <A380> serves only Paris and London in Europe; many Europeans intend to come to Zurich in the future in order to board the new aircraft. Afterwards, the <Airbus A380> flew to Geneva Airport for testing too. Das neue riesige Passagierflugzeug <Airbus A380> landete diese Woche erstmals auf dem Flughafen Zuerich fuer Tests; dieses Ereignis wurde mit einem <grossen> Volksfest gefeiert, wozu trotz Kaelte (Minus 2 Grad) mehr als 20 000 Schauluste anreisten. Es kam zu grossen Verkehrsstaus in der weiteren Umgebung des Flughafens; trotzdem sich <viele> ueber den Fluglaerm beklagen, kamen sie so zahlreich um den <Superjumbo> zu sehen. Es gab Leute, die staunten ueber den geringen Fluglaerm des neuen <Airbus A380>. Bisher fliegt der <A380> nur rund 12 Flughaefen weltweit an; Zuerich Flughafen wird ab dem 28.03.2010 ebenfalls dazu gehoeren! Ab diesem Datum wird <Singapore Airlines> <Zuerich-Airport> taeglich mit einem <Airbus A380> anfliegen. In Europa fliegt der <A380> bisher nur ab Paris und London; viele Europaer wollen inskuenftig ab Zuerich abfliegen. (Thu. 21.01.2010 Smi) 新しい日本の財務大臣、管直人は、官僚は夜の残業を減らし尚且つ効率的で 質の高い仕事をすべきだ、と言って主導権を握った（NZZから引用：能吏は労 働時間は少なく効率のいい仕事をする）。作業グループは2010年4月までに、 如何に労働環境を改善して定刻に帰宅出来るようにするかという提案の纏め を求められた。模範として管直人は、英国財務省と「新しい公的管理」とい うキーワードを基にした。管さんは抜本的な改革を目指しているようだ。役 人（官僚）は長年自民党政権の元で、「真の支配者として」権益を手中にし 、政治家は「族議員」になり下がっていた。日本民主党は再び政治主導を目 指して、官僚には透明性と説明責任を求め、人事制度は成果を基に決めよう としている。（出典：2010年1月21日付NZZ紙） The new Japanese Minister of Finance Kan Naoto took the initiative with the aim that the civil servants (bureaucrats) have to do less nightly overtime and despite it can perform their work efficiently and in good quality (Quote NZZ: A good civil servant works less and is more efficient>). A working group was asked to develop proposals how the working environment could be improved so that the civil servants could go back home punctually; the results should be ready by April 2010. As model for the initiative, Kan Naoto bases on the British Treasury Department and the key word is <New Public Management>. It seems that Kan-san initiative intends to introduce more profound reforms; the bureaucrats have developed into <actual monarchs> under the year-long LDP-Governments; on the other hand, politicians were down-graded to <Lobbyists>. The Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) wants to give more power back to the politicians; the bureaucracy shall be directed into transparency and accountability and the personal assignment shall be based more on performance. Der neue japanische Finanzminister Kan Naoto ergreift die Initiative, damit die Beamten (Buerokraten) in Zukunft weniger naechtliche Ueberstunden leisten und die Arbeit trotzdem effizient und in guter Qualitaet erbringen (Zitat NZZ: <Ein guter Beamter arbeitet weniger und ist effizienter>). Eine Arbeitsgruppe soll bis April 2010 Vorschlaege erarbeiten, wie das Arbeitsumfeld verbessert werden kann, damit die Beamten puenktlich nach Hause gehen koennen. Als Vorbild dafuer dient Kan Naoto das britische Schatzamt und das Stichwort <New Public Management>. Es scheint, dass Kan-san mit seinem Vorstoss tiefer greifende Reformen einleiten will; die Beamten (Buerokraten) haben sich unter den jahre-langen LDP-Regierungen zu <eigentlichen Herrschern> entwickelt und die Politiker wurden zu <Lobbyisten> herabgesetzt. Die Demokratische Partei Japan's (DPJ) will den Politikern wieder mehr Macht geben und die Buerokratie auf Transparenz und Rechenschaftspflicht ausrichten und das Personalsystem soll mehr auf Erfolg basieren. The new idea was originated from the Internet Enterprise <Kaba Net>, which has published since then daily news on the online newspaper <Manga no Shimbun> on the website <Newmanga.com>. Within a short time, there are already more than 300,000 users. In the future, the company intends to earn money among others by doing advertising on the website. The sources for the <Manga-Newspaper> are the TV (Television), newspapers and magazines; the enterprise produces out of it about up to five <Comic-News> per day. A professor of Zurich University said that <Manga> is considered to be a firm part of the Japanese culture. Drawn pictures as an instrument of transmitting information shall date back to the 8th century in Japan. Innerhalb kurzer Zeit gibt es bereits mehr als 300 000 Nutzer. In Zukunft moechte man unter anderem mit Werbung auf der Webseite Geld verdienen. Die Quellen fuer die <Manga-Zeitung> sind das Fernsehen, Zeitungen oder Magazine; das Unternehmen produziert daraus jeweils bis zu fuenf <Comic-Nachrichten> pro Tag. Our Japanese friend came with a typical Japanese small farmer's pick-up car; that's why we took our rental car for today's trip. First, he guided us up the mountain road till the end which is <Tsubame-Onsen>. Here is the starting point for the trekking trail up to Mount <Myoko-san> with an altitude of 2,454 meters and a member of the 100 famous Japanese mountains. He wanted to show us the famous waterfall and the river spa <Ohgon no yu> located here. We moved along a nature trail; on the right there was a deep river gorge and ahead the trail was climbing through the forest. We noticed that further up, lumbermen or construction workers were doing safety works. They were hanging on ropes because the area was hilly and there must have been landslides recently. We arrived at a point where a watching guard refused the people to go further up due to safety reasons.
